I am thinking of installing this new ubuntu onto my machine. I have 2 SSDs both 2TB each. I have Windows 11 on 2 TB but I wanted to install Ubuntu onto the other 2TB SSD. In the installation where it says ERASE DISK, can you select the SSD you want to erase and install ubuntu? In your presentation it didn't ask which device to select to erase. I am afraid I might erase my Windows 11 SSD with Ubuntu and I don't want to do that. I sort of want to hang onto Windows 11 for now since I got it when I purchased my system. I know you say don't have multi-boot; but I would love to have both. Thank you if anyone can help.

Do they show up exactly the same or slightly different? Just trying to figure out how to pin point which one has windows 11 on it

If it shows a serial number you could see what serial number windows 11 is using.

@@Digital-Scriptorium disk 0 Teamgroup 2TB which has Windows 11 I got this when I bought this new system.
disk 1 Samsung 2TB has (From my old laptop but want to erase it all and just use it with this new Ubuntu 24.04 LTS) It also has an old Windows 11 boot for my laptop but is useless now.
I have an ASUS B650 PLUS WIFI motherboard; I was looking through the BIOS and I was thinking to disable the disk0 Teamgroup SSD so when I install Ubuntu I can Erase on disk 1 Samsung SSD. Unfortunately, I can't find an option to temporary disable it. So, worse case I would have to manual take out the Teamgroup SSD and only have the Samsung SSD.
But that would be a pain; must be a simplier solution to all this.
Another option is to shrink the partition and have some unallocated space for ubuntu. But I just want 1 SSD for each: Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24.04.
      Sorry to bother you...

@@cybernit3 no worries at all! I'm happy to try and help. When in doubt just backup what you need. Thankfully if you did nuke windows 11 it's easier now more than ever to reinstall it. I have a video guide on it too.

Sorry to bother u but I came across another problem at the connect to internet page. I can't select any option as all of them are faded and there are only 3 anyway and they are:
      No wired connection detected
      No wifi devices detected
Do not connect to the internet

@@AayanWaqas10 no worries at all! Happy to help when I can. Are you hardwired to the Internet or trying it via wireless? Sometimes the default drivers don't have the specific network drivers. Most people don't have one off hand but for the most part a USB network adapter is a temporary fix to get it going.

Tutorial is ok, but title says 24.04 and image is 22.04. The 24.04 image is live and install in once (bad ideea). Or 24.04 is the date of install? bad business

I mention in the video that at the time of making it 24.04 was to be released the following day officially. I was showing how to do it using the beta which is the exact same as the release for the installation instructions.
