Thanks half Ass Craftsman for this video. I’m not handy at all and because of this video I was able to install my PVB today. It took me a total of 15mins. I called a sprinkler installer to do the job and they were going to charge me close to $800.00. I paid $80.00 for the part and did it myself.

You save me $700 bucks. Thanks again. I still can’t believe the price that I was quoted for 15 minutes of labor.

Thanks for posting this! I order the part and tool last week and was able to fix my leaky PVB without having to cut or disturb the PVC piping in any way. The new did leak a little upon the first go around but I just needed to tighten the bottom end a little more with the tool and problem solved.

Any chance you can share your experience in winterizing with this unit?
