    So…all of the sudden, after a year of never having an issue, my Jura E6 Platinum won’t make coffee/espresso at all. I’ve descaled/cleaned/and just did the damp towel wipe on the screen, which was definitely dirty “af”. Basically what’s happening is, it grinds the coffee(an entire puck), sounds like it’s gonna brew…..maybe offers 1-2 drops, and then says “enjoy” and then asks me to open switch (which it had never done proper) when I do it says “filling system”. Is there a way I can contact you directly to troubleshoot this. I am poor as fuck, bought this refurbished and paid installments for an entire year. I really don’t want to lose this machine.

      Definitely fill out a form for a repair estimate. We provide troubleshooting to try to keep you out of the shop. Sometimes, a machine really does need service, though, and this kind of issue (clogging) possibly means we'll need to disassemble the machine, locate the clog and replace the offending part.     Dude, THANK YOU! Only have had my J8 a month and a half and thought I was screwed. This vid saved my day (and life because my wife would have killed me had she not had her morning cup 'o joe lol) Wiped that screen twice between a few rinse cycles and back to new again! You rock man, cant thank you enough.

    Dude!!! Thank you so much! I've been trying to figure this out for weeks now. We still might have another problem, but these steps got us 2 delicious proper drinks for the first time in weeks. Your caveat at the end has me thinking it's not over though, since we have always had a lot of water in the drip tray, and apparently that's not normal. Oh well. Going to enjoy my coffee for now.

      I love helping my Jura brethren! You're right about the water in the drawer. There should be something like a teaspoon of water in the drawer after each cup, but no more than that.     Hey do you know why my machine would just stop telling me to clean and descale it? I had to go in to manual to the clean setting to clean it. Today I just reset back to factory setting to see if that helps. Any other thoughts?

      Hard to say! If there's another cleaning message on the screen it might conceal other cycles. Clear the first message and it might reveal others that are overdue.

      Just tap water! When you return, I definitely recommend a hand wash of the tank, fresh filtered water, then flush the system by selecting hot water and running 8 oz to introduce fresh water everywhere throughout the machine.

    Hi Ben, I have a Z5 that's been fine until recently where it occasionally shuts off without warning or error message. I restart it sometimes 2-3 times and then it works fine again. I have been wondering about the thermal blocks (water heaters) as it is an older machine could they be drawing to much or the thermal switches not working properly?? any thoughts?

    Amazing advice to save my Impressa S8 (getting on in the years but still amazing). Couldn't fill the system after removing the water tank. Unclogging the brew head worked!! Thanks so much. (I did try years back to 'fix' another Jura system, but, got in so deep it made the dumpster as @fox49 was thinking.) If you have a price for maintenance service, I'd suffer through brew coffee for a bit.

    I have owned a Jura for a few years now, it's worked ok...but recently had some issues with the bean sensor, it says add beans when hopper is full, help would be appreciated

    Glad to see your channel. It seems to be aimed at the commercial users. But hope you will expand to the home Jura users. I want to buy a Jura, but the expense and effort that goes into the cleaning system, is overwhelming to me.

    Help. I turn power on but says switch open and it’s not open. So I open it and says system filling. Then goes back to switch open

      The dreaded "open tap" message. Remove the filter if there's one in there. Open tap. If that doesn't do it, it confirm you've got a clog in the system and need service. Clogs are kind of the worst-they can take forever to find and are tricky to clear. Please fill out a form on our site and we'll provide an estimate for repair, based on your model and location.     you inspired me in France to follow your cleaning suggestion. Whilst I usually remove frother system & simply rinse under water. This time on my French supplied Jura E8 machine I attempted without much force to remove the round dial as you showed. After some resistance I came to the conclusion it did not seem to be made for removal.

      The round dial is definitely meant to be removed! A bit of resistance is normal, especially if there's a lot of milk crud. You could remove the frother and soak the whole thing in cleaning solution: maybe that would help it come out more easily. Good luck!

      `I don't know the E8-But on the Z9 the dial on the the face of the frother has to be center postition to remove the dial. There is a notch in the center of the round dial that has to match up to extract the round dial. Try adjusting the dial to center between icons on dial..

      @@gordonspicer There are so many versions of the E8. Share a picture to confirm this info. True: the latest version electronically adjust by itself and so must stay in the same position it's removed. I don't recommend twisting this one at all, as it's attached to a motor.

    My s95 won’t dispense coffee or rinse . Hot water works just fine and the steam works as well. It keeps saying fill system and then clean unit but I can’t clean the unit if it doesn’t dispense .Any suggestions ? Thank you !

    BINGO! New E6 stopped discharging coffee after 30 - 40 cups, tried every thing multiple times, your fix saved this machine from a fate worse than the dumpster ! Thank you Sir.

    I got same reading. Did this and then pretty much all maintenance and cleaning and still got it. Then I decided to run coffee cycle and adjust grinder to a bit finer and now have not had a issue last several runs. Possibly grinding setting was off-kilter 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Thank you! Fixed my 7 weeks old Z10 which started popping up with the system is filling message during brewing. Tried rinsing, descaling etc. and was almost about to put it back into the box, and send it in for repair. So happy to come across your video - you rock for sharing what appears to be a Jura secret since it isn’t in the manual. 👍🏻

    We were getting "System in Filling" error messages on our ENA 8 and this got it working again. Such a simple fix! (Though getting my hand up there wasn't easy!) For others with this issue, we only had our Jura ENA 8 for about 8 months when we had this issue occur. In addition to adding wiping down this filter each week, we increased the grind size we're using.

      Correct! When the machine is clogged, it's because the grind was too fine. Perform the cleaning in this video and set coarser. Most people don't realize on the ENA 8 that the grind adjustment is the chrome ring around the bean hopper. Spin counter-clockwise to go coarser. Thanks!

    I want to thank you so much! I have a brand new E6 (5 months old) and several days ago it became really hard for the machine to brew espresso. Few drops will only come out of the spout and then machine is filling the system. As u may guess, this video helped me fix the issue.

      I'm so glad it helped you! Don't forget to set a bit coarser. Sometimes only a click can be the difference between a clog and great espresso:)
