what size are the hoses?
Just got a ls460l all I need now is an bmw m4 lol
We just got 2 weeks ago a 2008 Lexus LS460 RWD and definitely love it and we get our 91 premium in our car when we get gas we switched out from our 10 Toyota Avalon limited to the LS460 both my wife and I are so very thankful
Those it have paddle shifters?
that’s false you can have a f80 with the competition package and a manual transmission. In the g80 you can’t tho.
No, It’s onee of the worst, check out the recall and repair history on them, they are ticking time bombs
Not true. There were sunt bugs but lexus addressed them after 2011.
What exhaust system is on it? Or is it custom?
What type of mod is that to add Carplay and similar to this car? It doesn't look like a VLine, maybe it's cheaper.
Have you compared it with the LS430 in terms of quietness at speed, road noise/wind noise, is the LS460 better? There seems to be many different opinions online. The obvious would be that the newer models always are quieter.
I just bought a 17' black on black with black lexus rims, absolutely beautiful car. I love the drive and will keep as a garage hot rod when im old 😅 thats the plan anyway
Good review. I like sports cars and all but nothing beats a comfy cruiser especially on long trips.
Amazing work and video godbless you sir !
Where did you mount the camera for this drive? Moonroof or headrest?
Moonroof directly in front of my head
A beautiful car, no doubt. However, the LS460 is the most complicated and expensive to repair Lesus. I'll stick with my 06 LS430.
Just picked up a 2014 with 150K on the odometer. One owner, clean history, serviced by Lexus dealer every 5k and performed all recommended maintenance. Paid $18k for a $80k car. I’m looking forward to the next 150k miles of ownership. Did the apple CarPlay upgrade work well?
Yes it works very well. Usually seamless on startup
You're goddamn right.
Any engine code with having that sensor removed?
He didn't remove sensor he just plug it back to oem part and let it hang next to OCC
Yep no code. I zip tied it up out of the way still connected.
Did you use ChatGPT to write the script for this video ? 😂😂
Just subscribed great videos really like your car. I have a few questions. Is the DCT reliable? Is there anything in particular to look for before buying? Any things to change as a precaution?
dct gearbox is good it handles the high horses with bolt on mods and tuning, i love it personally but the preferred would be manual
The DCT in the 335is I haven’t heard anything bad about reliability, so I would say yes. And before buying a 335 make sure it’s been regularly maintained and that major oil leak places such as the valve cover, oil filter housing, and oil pan gasket are taken care of if it’s at the age or/mileage. Also, if it does not have it already, replace the stock plastic charge pipe with an aluminum one. If it’s at 80k miles or so, make sure the water pump has been done or plan on replacing that too. If it’s an n54, look out for wastegate rattle on the turbos and look out for coolant leaks on both the n54/55. And finally, for either n54 or n55, I would recommend installing a crank plate that protects the crank from sucking in the belt if the oil filter housing is leaking into the belt. It’s a bigger job, so might as well replace tensioners and pulleys along with the belt if you decide to tackle it. That’s all I can think off on the top of my head.
I thought the interior would at least be as good as my 2007 s65 since mine is so much older
It’s way better you clown.
That is a nice review on a very nice car. One thing that would that would make it better is if you would have referred to all of the different items as "the", and not "your", it's proper English to say "the" it's improper English to call things that are not actually ours "yours" for obvious reasons.
All Lexus age like fine wine. Amazing Deal used also.
Your review here was objective, concise, and helpful. Good job. Keep up the good work.
What do you do with that sensor that's on the old one?
Zip tie it out of the way
450 crank*
I’ve bought 2 LS’s and a GS, Lexus does it for me
Literally the best car ive ever owned in my entire life
and just like that, you convinced me that this is NOT a DIY repair for me. you a badass, kid! nice video and thanks for the Intel...
Thanks! It's not as bad as it looks.. if you don't have seized mating surfaces like I did. A lot of hammering was done off camera
All I want is my my dream car, it will always be a 2017 LS 460L AWD!!! 🙏🏼😍
I have it, I 💜 it‼️ The last LS V8s
Thank you for such good review!
Simply a piece of art that comes with a lot of comfort. Every time you get inside one of these, you feel that you’re in business class.
I agree! It feels like you're stepping into a noise isolation chamber when you sit in it. You can really relax.
Best looking M3
❤🔥
250k miles, bruh this dude Matt Farah had one that went over a Milly. Although a 430 ls, im pretty the 460 can last just as long
That's crazy, it's Toyota reliability for you.
Haha! I had NO idea the SOS button did that. Ive always been afraid to touch it for some reason :D
Haha, you should really press it and let us know what happens
I just bought this car and it drives like a dream , my only complaint is that theres no where to rest your phone and the cup holders are very small and im coming from driving a pick truck for 9 years my Sierra had 6 huge cup holders in the front alone easily fit my Yeti and i had a spot for my cell phone and even a tablet ! I can barely stick a medium cup of coffee from McDonald's and im not exaggerating! Lol Im more of a truck guy I bought this to drive in the meantime the next Sierra model comes out and I only sold my truck cuz someone made me a big offer i couldn't turn down
Bro? You never heard of an amazon phone holder? Lol
@DeathhAngel1 nah I don't like that stuff on my car , looks like a cheap Uber driver !

My dream car.
Hi
Bought a 2007 gs350 awd last year. It has around 120k miles and the value is unmatched. Less than $10k, even though it is going on 18 years old, but over 300hp with honest reliability, this car was way ahead of its time. Highly recommend!
3, 2, 1 😊😊
Hahah
I like the 13-15 gs350 fsports more , these are nice to
I have a 15 gs350 and I’m stuck between the LS460 and the LS500. I’m a sucker for boats 😂
@@SFNena415 those are nice to but I still prefer the aggressive body style
@@Gospeed777 shit do you have an LS? Let’s trade! I got 105k on it and it’s an f sport.
Was this a stock tune? Just exhaust?
Yes stock tune. It’s the comp so it’s tuned a bit more than the base.
Can I ask you about the grease for the bearing splines and axle splines ? You suggested that both surfaces be coated in order to make the connection easier / smooth. Q. What kind of grease does it require ?
Use some anti-seize lubricant. Watch out as it's really messy when you touch it but it'll make your assembly a bit easier plus you will thank yourself later when you gonna remove it once again in the future. Just don't put too much of it, smear it on the splines and even the thread, don't dip it in that lol
@@MKRN98 That’s great ! Thanks for the information / assistance ! Have a great day mate . 👊🏼
Great video brother!
Extraordinary detail ! Super helpful !! I learned lots !!! Thanks mate. 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Fun SUV 💯
What is your gas mileage? Hello from France
Hello! This is not my car so I wouldn’t be able to answer that but it seems to be around 16 mpg or 6.8 km/l
Great video! What suspension mods are you running?
Thanks! Stock suspension aside from some KW V1 Coilovers. Changes the whole ride of the car and drives great for sporty and daily.
I thought you stole my car, I had to check the garage. Silver AWD 2016 Black interior, soft close doors. But when you got to Apple Carplay, I don't have that. So I guess you didn't steal. Bought three years ago with 60,000 miles, runs great, no issues don't put many miles on, now has 70k miles. The only issue is at night with the black interior the car is really dark when you get in or out.
I agree with the darkness, sometimes a bit hard to see in there especially with the soft led lighting.
These used LS are such bargains tbh
Indeed, great car for the money
old and outdated
Not when you have to fix them. The 430s can be considered affordable but the 460s require a lot more (expensive) maintenance than the 430. If you're looking for an actual bargain look at a 2015 es 350. It's not an Ls but is is still very nice and you will be able to keep it nice without going broke.
@@MSG685 true, no where near the experience of an ls though lol. I had the maintenance in mind. Control arms, brake actuator, mark Levinson amp, valley plate, list goes on. Gotta keep in mind these where close to 100k dollar cars at the time.
And your going to pay to fix a $100k car. Honestly if you pick one up for 12k and you spend 15 to get it sorted you would have a great car for 27k. If you only have 12k get a Camry. @@Stonedanteater
2 years later inflation is so bad that it's no longer under 10k
