Is egg breeding possible in gen 3 games? Other than that, what is the best gen 3 game in your opinion? I feel like Fire Red is much better than Emerald in my opinion...I kind of grew up with prof Oak and Ash so it kind of makes it more special for me. What do you think about this? In general a lot of people say soulsilver is the best in gen 4 but i feel like gba gen3 is kind of the best...What do you say about this?

I came here because I'm trying to do a gen3 link battle with my wife (I've gotten all gold symbols years ago) and I've found out that (if you want a Hoenn dex pokemon) the fastest way [7hrs per] to getting a perfect IV pokemon is to do the R/S battle tower glitch where you catch a roaming perfect IV [swampert, Milotic, gyarados etc] off of an enemy at 50+ wins. But the kicker is I want kanto pokemon too. So I am using a perfect IV male Walrien as the father and a female Eevee to try to get good eeveelutions. So this video didn't lend much insight for breeding tips but I do wish you luck in the Battle facilities!

The 3DS may have officially sailed into the sunset, but I'll always have great memories (IWould LOVE to have a Streetpass like feature for the Switch! That was a blast at conventions!) and now lots of great games to enjoy too!

Here's a Simple (but not small) List of Instructions. Look up any of this on UA-cam for further instruction & verification: I believe it's been put out officially, that the eShop close at 1700 (5 PM) on March 27th. So you may not have until the end of that day. I highly recommend that you update the games you have first, so you can better judge how much space your SD Card has on it afterward. Also, the best way to verify how much space a game will take, is to look at the needed space, right before you buy it. The recommended space for a Wii U game on the overview screen is misleading. And I can't stress the Streetpass Downloads enough. Since Streetpass is an independent function on the 3DS, it's worth having everything. With the VIP Feature & all 3 Bundles, it'll run you $37. But take note, you can't buy anything until you Streetpass someone at least once. And if there's Streetpass games you don't want to feel forced to play after every pass, just store them in your vault, & you can focus on the ones you want. It goes without saying, look for Download only games. There's 4 Kirby games for the 3DS, some Mini Mario games for both the 3DS & Wii U, Pushmo too. BOXBOY has 3 games on the 3DS, that aren't on the Switch. There's plenty of videos online about these. Don't forgot about DSiWare games. Those don't download onto an SD Card, only the System Memory itself. They can be transfered via SD Card, but not played on it. They aren't very expensive, either. Also, with Pokémon Bank, you'll need Pokémon Transporter for the DS Games, & Virtual Console ones as well. That'll mean you'll need to pay the $5 subscription ONCE, so can download Transporter for free. You'll never be able to get it by itself in the eshop. And it's been stated that all Demos & Free Software will be discontinued after the closing, & you only pay the subscription. So it's very likely that Transporter will be unavailable after the closing. DON'T EVER delete Bank or Transporter either. They'll be gone for good if you do. And DLC is required for either a faster, fuller, or longer experience in regards to specific "free to play" game. As an example, Stretchmo is free, but with a limited number of courses by itself. But the DLC Bundle for everything is only $10, it's best price. Pokémon Rumble World is free, but takes a long time to move further (a rare in-game currency thing). But by paying the full price of the game, you get access to everything, & somethings much faster. Basically, it'll turn the Free Download into the Full Game. New Super Mario Bros. 2, Mario Golf World Tour, etc., there's quite a few games that have DLC. And make sure that you check to see if any Virtual Console games you want, are ALREADY out for the Switch. Either the Classic Systems Libraries, or a Switch collection game. (I just bought PAC-ATTACK for SNES, without realizing that it's on the PAC-MAN Museum game. There goes $8 for something else. Oops) Oh, and don't forget about the Pokémon Demos, that have exclusive Pokémon, & some items, that can be Transferred to the main game. Just a few can be, but they're rare. You can delete them afterwards, because they do take up quite a bit of space.

I'm all for piracy, but 3DS emulation kinda sucks right now, for the average user. Citra is riddled with constant stuttering, even with an RTX 3070. I still don't know how to emulate DSi Ware either.

Now that the shutdown day is upon us, I just wanted to thank you for this video as this was my go-to checklist for exclusives leaving with the store. Sadly my financial situation didn't improve enough to get all of exclusive things on here, but I'm glad things are at least not forever erased. In the interest of your collection since you've gathered many of these titles for yourself, I have to ask if your willing to play or showcase a few of the exclusive things on your channel? I have looked online into a ton of the games you listed, and there were a few, especially DSI, related titles that have very little to no internet documentation. Thus, do you have interest in playing a few of the more obscure games on here so people can see why they were recommended? Honestly a follow up to this video that goes into why certain titles were as highly praised as they were would be really neat to see, and probably really interesting for people coming back to remember videos like this beyond March 27th.

When you say at 30:22 that the game has download play which works for your extra consoles can you please explain what you mean? I only have one 3DS XL console right now but in the future I would like to buy another one. I'm new to just getting a bunch of digital games before knowing about the eshop closure I just purchased physical games only. How does it work if I would want to get a second console? Am I still able to put the same games on the second console after the eshop closes? How would I do so? TIA

You can keep your DSi game saves. Every time you copy games from the internal memory to an SD, the save file is copied along. I recommend to copy the downloaded files as soon as you get them before playing for the first time, back them up in a PC and then you can copy to SD before deleting whenever. If the files get corrupted or something, just copy those backups and you’ll start fresh.
