Ramps on both sides to the cargo bay is my favourite feature 😂

you can see in a lot of component storage designs that the doors hinge outward, then pull into the hull/supporting structure, im betting this might be a viable option for the galaxy hangar door

Where does the back hangar door retract into? There doesn't seem to be enough room. It should swing open outwards, that would even create a small ramp for vehicles to drive off of, when exiting the ship while landed. That would be the best option, IMHO. Another option would be a rolling door, like a roll-top desk.

Cannot believe the algorithm for not recommending me this video. The spirit series is my alltime favorite in SC. Have the C1 with an E1 upgrade sitting in my hangar.

8 months later… Med Ursa is here, cargo gameplay almost here. Polaris almost here (I assume to see the Galaxy soon after). Your video’s keep me going at this point. I have had these ships sitting in my hangar for so long and I can’t wait to get my hands on them

Good stuff! As an A1 and E1 owner I approve of this video.

Really nicely done! The Spirit series is the first time since the Kickstarter that I've ever bought two variants. I built CCU chains for the A1 and the E1, the E1 is paused on the C1 for now since I don't want two A1s. I wish that the Ship Showdown counted all variants as one. I think the C1 has a good chance this year, just like the C2 did a few years back. But other ships will probably just always be locked out. The Freelancers, the mk1 Hornets, the Vanguards.

Windows are not really RSI thing that is more Aegis and Anvil. RSI has a more submarine approach to spacecraft.

Feel like those turret doors are going to get in the way. Wish they retracted or folded back more. Those manned turrets on the top are so bulky and ugly too. Hopefully those get way sleeker to fit the lines of the ship more. They look hideous.

Please never get a job at CIG. Ur skills would never see the light of day with the extremely long dev times of CIG. Ur work is so nice.

Amazing work. Loved watching it. It would be cool to see some other big ships that arent complete yet. Something like a Kraken/Orion/Cruicible/etc.

Can you do the polaris next

Modulation and crew size will dominate the PU in gameplay. Large ships and unrealistic crew size will get old quick, ships with multirole options/and a crew size that reflects common sense, the boredom factor and human time restraints will win hands down. CIG have stated that NPC Crew/AI Blades, ''we talked about the possibility to hire NPC's to help you fly your ship, and stuff like that, and that's probably far down the road, its in the roadmap'' wont be saving the day anytime soon, and soloing a large ship on a common sense level is dead as of 3.23+. The galaxy is an interesting ship, an RSI kitbash with 3 current modules, with more to follow and a healthy future ahead of it. PS: I am planning on crewing my ships with only females, i work with many and admire their level headed, patient and work ethic. Plus my 3 teen daughters are great gamers

Really impressed with your work .TY . Just an idea : If they removed the wall between the module area and the hanger area for the base building version of the ship we could make the large base units and lower them to the ground .

The things ships need way more of is windows. I couldn't give a lick about the hot tub in the Phoenix, but I love the widows. One of my favorite features about the cutty is the slide doors. I love some good visibility in multicrew ships

Will the Galaxy make it for 2024?

Blast shields with a Tevarin-style display would be phenomenal. A great mix of the cultural and technological heritage of the UEE expressed in their most modern warship design. Darn I hope they incorporate that but I really don't expect it.

it better carry a spartan or two because you dont put ursas in a military ship lol
