Did that years ago to make a door in our rental shorter - and the blade flexed and went sideways below the guiding rail. Now we have to live with the deep curvy cut in the door...

12:40 instead of using the jointer, you can stand short pieces like those up and push them over the bandsaw. Only issue is getting a straight cut, but depending on how straight you need it it can be a good option

For those 45 degree angle cuts people can also use a saw track and the circular saw. Damn the pattern came out beautiful in the end, great work!

How do I reduce chipping on plywood using a jigsaw? It really makes a mess at the edge.

cut from underneath the board. If the board is long, use a circular saw with a guide

sorry bud.. as a profesional i wouln tot reccomend that trick... does only work witrh a brand new saw blade... after that 1 side of the blade can be a litle more dulled and the blade wants to go the other way.
