Nice wood ! 👍 I'm a bit puzzled by the orientation of your wood expansion slots as wood expansion occurs cross grain, not along (or at least 2 orders of magnitude less along the grain)...
Omfg, I'm in literal shock rn... Looked again after reading your comment and this was a misconception from my side, I always thought most movement happens along the grain o.O This never happened to me before, thanks for telling me before I keep repeating this mistake lol!
I'm going to.second the comment below. Your expa sion slots are going the wrong direction. The board will never expand longer. It's a beautiful piece, maybe check in on your sanding technique?
