Chance always loved sea shanties so when Ubisoft called Home Free for a song for their new game, of course they tossed it to him. This isn't a music video - it's a mini-movie with music. And something different these days - an actual story! She has the map, finds the treasure and becomes Captain of the pirate ship (you go girl!).

This was filmed separately during the Covid lockdowns. They had done a video of "Children Go Where I Send Thee" with Kenny Rogers and this video was an homage to him after his passing. Another of their "quarantine' videos "Flowers on the Wall" was an homage to Harold Reid of the Statler Brothers after his passing.

Tim wrote this one some 15 years ago. 3 of them (Tim, Austin & Chance) are song writers so there are plenty of originals as well as covers. Tim's originals include "Champagne Taste", "Remember This" & "What's Left of My Heart": Austin's include "Save the World", "Love Me Like That" & "Lonely Girls World"; Chance's include "Skull & Bones" & on his channel "Leave Her Johnny/Lowlands". Keep falling down the rabbit hole!

Chance wrote a banger! Ubisoft heard their Sea Shanty Medley during Covid and approached Home Free to write a shanty for their new game Skull and Bones and this is it. Yes, she found the treasure and could become Captain. Ubisoft put more music in this. Chance played guitar but there was a mandolin and maybe tambourine? Anyway, I love it. One of my favorite new songs by them.

This is a beautiful song by Tim. I didn’t know they made a video of it, I only knew it as a lyric video. Tim has been a songwriter for a long time. This was before he was with Home Free if it was 15 years ago. Baton Rouge is a city in Louisiana.

Looks like Rob wins to me. He has the most chips and won the hand. You were right with naming the guys at the end. Everything from 2016 and newer is with Chance. Everything before that from 2013 to early 2016 is with Chris. They did this song as a tribute to Kenny Rogers after he passed. They did a song with Kenny called Children Go Where I Send Thee which is great. Kenny called them up to do that song. Good one RIK!😍😄

Even though I've always loved the song, it still gives me an extra boost when you "see" them singing it and a video to go with it. Beautifully sung, great background vocals, amazing beatboxing which is not too overwhelming here and don't forget the incredible bass

Yes! You figured it out before the end of the video! Tim wrote that song. He’s an amazing songwriter. Baton Rouge is actually my hometown where I grew up. I wasn’t born there, but my dad moved us there when I was 8. Grew up there and lived there off and on a couple of times after I got married, divorced and re-married. Then move to the smaller city near it. Love Tim’s style. It’s very heartfelt music. This one is tender and sweet. Austin and Chance are also very talented songwriters. Maybe check out all three of their UA-cam channels. Anyway, I enjoyed your reaction (and your silliness at times. Lol)☺️

This is not a story about any of the members' lives. It's a song written by Tim Foust who is an unbelievable singer/songwriter with a 5 octdave range. He wrote this song about 15 years ago which he states in the outro of the song. Yes, Baton rouge is a city in Louisiana. Check out Tim's album "The Best That I Could Do" which is all originals written by him.

Tim is an an amazing songwriter. What makes Home Free different is they have 3 amazing songwriters in the group ( Tim, Chance and Austin ) so you always have amazing original songs to listen to. Austin wrote a trilogy of songs for his wife Amberly called Stargazer Trilogy Give Me A Sign ( Chapter 1) Stargazer Lilies ( Chapter 2) MR (Chapter 3)

This is such a beautiful original song from Tim. He is a wonderful songwriter. This song was originally on Tim's solo album before joining Home Free called "The Best That I Could Do". Nice to see it redone with Home Free. Love Adam's percussion!

Tim has a great voice and songwriter. Tim wrote this song and Tim has five octaves. The harmonies are great and they are my favorite group. 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤

Nice reaction. Yes, Tim wrote this. Home Free has many songs that were written or co-written by one of them (though I think only Tim, Austin and Chance) and they are all amazing (try Remember My Name or Understand). As you were surprised by Tim's high notes you should try one of the 5 songs of his solo album he released on UA-cam. They are all great, but I would recommend to start with either Come Go With Me (the lead single) or Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay.

I think this shows her progression from starting with an obsession to go to sea, to getting on a ship's crew, learning the ropes, finding a treasure and buying her own ship and crewing it so she becomes captain.

Chris Rupp left in May 2016. The new guy, usually wearing a hat, like here, is Adam Chance. Chance wrote and sang lead on “Skull and Bones”. I don’t think any of them knew how to play poker when this was filmed. Rob won this hand.

These guys are amazing & always put a smile on my face. They were very creative during quarantine. This was recorded in their separate homes & then edited together. They did a great job of this song & nice tribute to Kenny Rogers. And Adam was awesome as usual with his vocal percussion. The lyrics are talking about learning life lessons & uses gambling as a metaphor.

They are more like a human cathedral organ in this one.

Wasn't that great! We've been waiting for this official video by Home Free for awhile now. It felt like watching a movie. Home free is so talented & they can do any genre of music. Chance loves sea shanties & he wrote this song for the game "Skull & Bones". His deeper voice sounded great for this song. And of course all the background harmonies of the guys including Adam's fabulous vocal percussion.
