LAST track day of 2023 TORQSTORM G8GT consistent 9 second passes
We last minute decided to head to US41 in Indiana to see if we could get the car to go better than 9.80. We never made it past 9.80's since we had some issues but it's still a consistent 9 car and we couldn't be happier!

We went to round 2 of Street Car Takeover Indianapolis to run Women and Wheels and ended up taking home the win! It was a whirlwind day from trying to figure out why the transmission wasn't shifting right to celebrating our FIRST win.

We head over to the NMCA All American Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio to run the 10.00 index in the Rumble class. It was a long three race day weekend but we made it to the finals on Sunday and came home with runner up! We're so happy with the car being so competitive this year and can't wait for the next event. LS Fest East is in a week and a half!

We FINALLY got the S2000 on the dyno over the weekend! Although we've had some gremlins to work through (as most new builds do) we wanted to update you guys on the car. We're figuring them out with the help of @HorsepowerDepot and we're excited to get it good to drive!

We really just work on our own cars. As of right now we don’t actually do customer cars bc our full time jobs don’t allow us a whole lot of time to.

What diameter charge pipe and fittings are you using? Also do you use dual BOVs?
The charge pipe is 3”. Which fittings are you asking about? The original blower we had the single BOV was enough. Now that we have the bigger blower we have two BOV’s. I believe tho Torqstorm is making bigger BOV’s for the bigger units

We could definitely do a video on it! It’s nothing super special. Sbe 6.2, cam, blower, custome fuel system, suspension is the gist of it lol

What BOV are you using? Chris told me today I should use a new one they are making that is larger than the 55mm. Or go twin 55.
How much boost did it make? And what size pulley comes on the ts84 I just upgraded mine today and forgot to ask.
Ours came with a 3.5 I think and have the 3.1 on and makes around 14psi
@gapfactorygaragellc I'm making right at 15psi on a stock block 4.8 with the 76mm right now I talked to them yesterday and made sure I got a 3.5
is this there 84mm kit with the bigger pulley? or there smaller kit?

Hey guys I have a quick question I had a quick question we're there more parts needed for the torqustorm supercharged besides fuel pump injectors and intercooler setup?
If you bought the kit from Mr bling that comes with everything to put the kit on a g8. Intercooler pipes maf sensor and a few other things. You could put a torqstorm on a stock g8 and run it with that kit. Everything else we have done to try to help make the car faster.

I’ve always heard to launch 4L80s in 3rd due to OD issues starving the pump from oil when launching in Drive🤔
I always did race it in 3rd. I may have missed that on this pass but I was always told in d the trans break should not work either. Now it will have a 400 so won’t have this issue again lol

Engine mounts were in the car when I bought it and I motor plated it. Transmission mount is from x performance. They also sell engine mounts

We have camaro Brembos on the front and v6 g8 on the rear

The front spindles are off a camaro everything in the rear is for a g8 except the diff

@salllom123 it is to use strange dual adjustable coil overs. It was cheaper to get those and the parts for the swap over getting afcos
I have a G8 also and i am thinking about doing a torque storm . I see you guys are running a 6.2 did you not have luck with the original 6.0?
We actually had our 75mm torqstorm on our 6.0 for two years before we blew that engine. The only reason we blew it was bc we didn’t have the intercooler on it for testing and it got very hot on a pass a couple summers ago.
How much boost were you getting out of the 75MM ? I wanna keep the car drivable but still wanna go fast too lol I have most of the comon upgrades done already but with buddies running Fox body's the weight difference is hard to make up . Just need to get in the 10s and I will be happy. Preferably on 93
It was on 8-9lbs. We didn’t really get into the 10’s until we upgraded the fuel system and put it on e85.

It’s a stock truck 6.2
