Evolution of a Conservation Garden
Tour the Margaret Reid Wild Flower Garden and learn about its evolution since its beginning in 1942 in this presentation by Amy Mackintosh to the Margaret Reid Chapter of the NC Native Plant Society on February 20, 2024. The Margaret Reid Wild Flower Garden is a woodland garden in Raleigh, NC, featuring locally native wild flowers. It is a privately owned garden created by Margaret Reid over about 50 years and protected in perpetuity by a conservation easement held by Triangle Land Conservancy. Subsequent owners continue stewardship of the garden, along with volunteers from the Reid Chapter of the NC Native Plant Society Thanks to George McDowell for editing this video.
