He told the band and everyone in the booth to keep recording no matter what happens. His breakdown at the end is him actually going through the pain again. The band just kept doing whatever they could to not interfere.

It’s a real thing. I know I’m ugly. I know people see that. Many will try and say “nah cabby, you’re handsome.” I know it’s a shallow compliment. And I’m ok with being this way. It made me develop my sense of humor and other parts of my personality that have people want to be around me.

This was an old standard album of mine. Still on my phone. Had it on playlist repeat with their 1st album while playing CRPGs when it came out. They also put out a cpl songs not that long ago that were pretty fire, Genocidal Humanoidz is great. And heh, I always liked seeing the one or two black guys at the rock shows, or the dude in the hood wearing punk t-shirts. Always had extra respect for ppl not afraid to go against the grain, like whatever they like, be whoever they are, and tolerate a bunch of white people to do it lmao. It was kinda rare when I was a kid.

serj has a really good and wide range. the guitarist, daron malakian also does vocals with him a bit and has a really nice voice as well. you can hear it a lot on the mesmerize album (my personal fav)
