Love the shoe modification 😂! I modified the 💩 out of my Agravic Speed Ultras. Seriously shaved the plastic around the ankle and at the heel down with a dremel 🤣! Problem solved. No more bloody ankles or heel! Any comparison comments on these and the speed ultra? Simply love the bounce and feel of the Terrex.

Saucony Edge and Rift has these grooves now..

Adidas Speed Ultra are really a super shoes. For me especially on downhills. It's like Ferrari on your feet whereas Nike ultrafly are way worse. And I see you mention them just one time. I don't recommend anyone these shoes.

What do you think are the tradeoffs between this and the TX3? Similar lug depth. A little lighter vs but less padding. No plate but the TX3 plate isnt intrustive.

tous les modèles hoka sont trop étroits aux orteils, marre de toujours découper la chaussure au niveau de mon hallux valgus et petit orteil. Hormis leur armorti, cette marque ne mérite pas le prix par rapport à la concurrence. Leur semelle s'use à une vitesse grande V et devient rapidement glissante (meme les speedgoat, pas top). J'ai rarement eu la sensation d'être comme dans des pantoufles contrairement à New Balance ou Mizuno. Dorénavant,je vais m'orienter de préférence vers Mizuno et rester chez Puma pour les plaques carbone. J'hésite encore avec les On, elles sont chères, mais leur semelle a l'air adhérente. Dommage que Altra ait rétréci leur toe box et leur mesh n'est pas du tout confortable, sans compter leur semelle qui s'use comme les Hoka. Ce sont des chaussures bien adhérentes et bien dynamiques dans l'ensemble, mais il ne faut pas chercher le confort. Les premières Torin étaient géniales, depuis cela a bien changé

If the ankle collar is giving you problems, why not go with a thicker insole to raise your ankle position?

Worked, right up until it didn’t, is the tragic truth. 😂 Runners need to find what works for themselves, and not just for a short time but the long run. Pun intended. Avoid comparisons and forget the fads.

I am not sure if I am more disappointed that Jamil has not made a concluding video for his chipotle local legend challenge.- I woke up at 2 am to see the final live feed that did not air and then no nothing on RSGH. (I used to live in Tuscon) - or that we didnt see Harry pass Jeff at the Cocadona 250.

The winner of the Chipotle Challenge ambiguity (in reality versus technically) is the perfect outcome for the challenge. Can't think of a better ending than that. It adds to the almost mythological nature of the challenge. I hope that never gets resolved and forever remains an unsolved conclusion. And both Jamil and Kevin receive free Chipotle for a year. Absolutely legendary!

What?! When you upload a Strava activity makes no sense. The watch and Strava know when an activity starts and ends. Why would when it uploads matter. Even then it knows when an upload starts, the user has no control over when an upload finishes. Huge congrats Jamil and to Kevin 😀🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

The Mizuno Daiichi 8 is actually a pretty sick trail shoes, solid stack, but not too heavy, rock plate, vibram rubber. Works really well for me.

The M2C R1 did have a squeak issue. I saw they actually remodeled it with the “R1R”

wish Jamil had spoken more about running with Tarahumara (Raramuri), way back in the day. Quite a bit of talk of mizuno on trail running channel. On topic of japan, host looks like the alveus santuary lady, like it could be his sister.

I admit that I was closely tracking the Strava Chipotle Challenge in Tempe. It showed a different side to endurance/ultra running that was new to me and which I really appreciated. Jamil continues to do so much for this sport, and I am probably not alone in saying I appreciate it.
