My controller review on official Victrix site was as follows below. So far I have not seen it being published. I think people deserve to know how the controller feels after being used on a daily basis over longer period so I have decided to post the same review as this video comment. So close and so far away... It is a true shame, because this controller had a great potential. Unnecessary complications have started early with this controller. In my case after installing the app on Win11 I was not able to get the controller recognized. The manufacturer offers a patch to fix this problem but it did not work in my case. I had to install Win10 on a virtual machine to get the controller app to run properly on my laptop. The controller itself doesn't feel cheap so it is a true shame that the manufacturer has failed to recognize potential downfalls of its own product. Back pedals are completely useless if you ask me because they have extremely light activation and it is quite likely that you will activate them by mistake 9 out of 10 times. So annoying. The triggers can be set between five different travel distances. The problem is that again due to the unfortunate product realization it is so easy to change the trigger travel distance by mistake, again 9 out of 10 times rule applies. Imagine this thing happening in the middle of the game. In this kind of scenario it is quite possible that the player might get a sudden urge to smash its beloved controller against the wall. 😮 Because of these stupid reasons this is definitely not a controller that I would use for serious gaming. It is a true misfortune when the manufacturer manages to unnecessarily mess up its product. Totally unnecessary. My condolences to the manufacturer 😞 I wish Victrix can fix this stupid issues on its future models. If that ever happens this controller has a potential to become a truly magnificent tool in the hands of every gamer.

I bought this to play a few games but most of all the SRPG on PSP called Jeanne d'Arc. And the game plays but the sprites or models it uses in the in-game maps and cutscenes are invisible 😢 I have no idea how I'd fix that since I can't find any options I can change that fix it

Just bought one as I found the magic mouse is lousy to use even after using a cheap Logitec. The difference between the 3S and the magic mouse is night & day in favour of the 3S. It's definitely worth the money.

This along with apple now supporting emulators makes my iPhone feel like a legit games console. I love this controller it has completely transformed my iPhone which I NEVER used to play games on because I hate touch controls.

Just a little advice for anyone watching. On AliExpress these (trimui smart pro) can be had regularly for around 40. If you can spend an extra 10 then for around 50 the Powkiddy x55 is a better option. It has double the ram of the trimui, going from 1gb to 2gb. It has a slightly faster CPU and a more powerful GPU. It's not a massive upgrade but for only 10 pounds more it's definitely worth it, the extra ram and better GPU make it a bit better for 3d emulation, if all you play is 2d games then the trimui is perfect.

I don't own an Xbox, but I do have a PC and a PS5. I love to play a lot of games while being abroad for work. Bringing my Backbone and playing games on my phone is awesome. Of course, I need a stable internet connection, which is the downside. But most of the time, this is the case.
