I have the white version of The Trimui Smart Pro and its a top notch budget handheld, it out performs alot of Anbernic Devices. I have a feeling that they're already working on a second better version.

On aliexpress? I bought one for $35 and got a usb light instead had to open a claim to get my money back. So you might be getting a usb light too. There’s a listing right now for $45.71 which I might try
You didn't mentioned that it has Bluetooth as well. But you have to update the unit to the latest firmware. I purchased mine on AliExpress for less than $60 USD with the included SD card 256Gb size...
I've seen the argument made against my wish for these retro handhelds that cap out at PSP to feature analog triggers, being stated as 'why bother when it can't handle GameCube, which had analog triggers', which not only ignores the possibility of remapping PS1, N64, and PSP racers' analog stick throttle/brakes to analog triggers for more modern control layouts, but more importantly ignores the fact that Sega Dreamcast had analog triggers, as well as some awesome racing games that made use of them, like Sega GT, Sega Rally, Metropolis Street Racer(first entry in what became the Project Gotham Racing franchise), and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 1+2...!

As someone who collects “real” handhelds and emulation devices, the standardized USB C charging port is a really underrated benefit. It’s super annoying keeping track of all the chargers sometimes.

I bought this to play a few games but most of all the SRPG on PSP called Jeanne d'Arc. And the game plays but the sprites or models it uses in the in-game maps and cutscenes are invisible 😢 I have no idea how I'd fix that since I can't find any options I can change that fix it

The Max 3 has a few features the smart pro does not have like an HDMI out and grips at the back of the unit that might make it more comfortable to hold. The smart pro has more updated firmware that has ongoing support though and more custom firmware options. I don't on'we one but i am a smart pro fan, gotta say though after looking into the Max 3 im tempted to rather buy that one if i ever could
Copy your roms files to the corresponding console subfolder in the ROMS folder, switch it on, press menu button, select update database, and you are good to go.
Not worth it Emulator suck. Some buttons don't work with Tony hawk games, some things won't show on pokemon snap it crashed playing turok where I couldn't move or leave the game or turn off the console.
Correct. This just alternative when you no need to trouble with finding emulators, games, installing. And ofc physical buttons still superior than touch buttons.
All that money and you still can’t play ps2 games, well, to be fair it should even be able to run switch games or ps3 something better than ps2 but instead it became a costly retro console which sucks 😂 Even the other consoles like R36S should be able to run psp games perfectly but it is a big fail the ones who made the console sucks that it cannot play what it should be able. To as advertised

No dolphin emulator - I don’t think it will run GameCube

Maybe the specific rom isn’t great you can download the Rom yourself and it may be better than what’s already preinstalled
