Good day. Could u help to resolve some problem. Ecdis shows ENC in chart maintenance catalogue however this chart not present in real. Why chart catalogue is not updated?(Updates installed weekly) From OneOcean. On OneOcean this ENC also absent. How to update all catalogue?

Can you answer on some questions please: 1) Permits for charts and licenses its same? 2) As I understand, exist weekly updates of charts (it's correction of charts) and Base update - it's revision of charts? And if I understand correct on Ecdis already installed all ENC, and from us required only make update it, installed permits/ licenses, and put Base?

You are not declare what’s going on with scenario that our furuno ecdis support Filtering function. That means taking data after comparison of both sensors . In case that we lost the one , filtering automatically taking data from gps2 for example or we must change the priority from ECD/FILT to GPS2?

The worst ECDIS ever made !!! Silly software, silly menu, 0 intuition, 0 user friendly. We are struggling with this unit all the time. Instead ECDIS give support and be aid to nav it's create danger. The worst.... Maybe someone from Japan will read this comment and wake up, seaman's nightmare is to have furuno ECDIS.

Also to use a chart to its compilation scale we have to go and open the chart manually why cannot we just set it to its compilation scale from navigation mode

It's pointless to have such a feature because sometimes there are tugs assisting the ship for manoeuvring in congested water as a solas requirement passage plan should be berth to berth and because of this silly geometry check it's not possible to join to waypoints at a short distance and sharp alterations
