great video sir, i came across an ECDIS questionaire and found one question
when navigating across the safety contour, symbols for isolated dangers
1. are not displayed on some ecdis type/make
2. are displayed on all ecdis type/make and the user cannot turn it off
3.can be displayed on all ecdis types/ make, user can turn it off
4. are not displayed on any ecdis make/type
i selected option 3 as it is a performance standard..

Hello Sir great job you are doing. Can you pls explain why does ECDIS show wellhead as isolated danger although it is way deeper than safety contour?

Thank you so much for that question, and i am sorry i did not answer it before. And it is really great of you to watch our videos, thanks
to answer your question, the ECDIS displays these isolated danger symbols, to make you aware of what could be a potintial hazard in otherwise safe water. (S-52 presentation library standard)
if you have the NP 231 onboard try to read about, there is a whole page about this subject.
