Is it good for a disabled person to go uphill?
That answer requires much more data regarding the hill, the person, and the disability. -Producer Tim
FIRST OF ALL, YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW RIDE A REGULAR GAS ENGINE BIKE. THAT SUCKS. THAT ELECTRIC BIKE CAN ONLY GO SO MUCH. WHO WANTS TO DEAL WITH REMOVING THAT 80 LBS BATTERY. IF YOU KNOW HOW TO SHIFT. GAS IS THE BEST. NO NEED TO WORRY ABOVE RUNNING OUT OF POWER.
Incorrect. Miss GoElectric clearly states in this video that she was educated and certified on a gasoline powered motorbike with a clutch. She has proven before government certified instructors that she *can in fact* perform all of the maneuvers, obstacle jumping, and high speed tests required. That is how she earned the Michigan State Motorcycle endorsement. Despite 20 hours riding gasoline motorcycles, she has no interest in owning one. Internal combustion motors are unreliable, as are the transmissions. Oil changes and other maintenance add cost and rob owners of time. Motorcycle owners have an option to avoid those annoyances. Miss GoElectric's daily rider is 100HP Zero DSR/X with a range of 180 miles. It has a top speed of 105mph and does 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Most combustion motorcycles are less capable by most metrics. She has never had to "worry" about running out of power. Electricity is present at almost every building in America 24/7. The bike can plug into just about anything. Remember, it is gasoline which is only available at limited locations. It sounds like maybe you've got it backwards. Back to the topic of the Ryvid Anthem. You made a remark which indicates that you believe that somehow battery removal is a requirement of ownership. It is not. It is an option. Most folks will just ride up to any power outlet or charging station and plug their bikes in. Battery removal is a neat option which adds capability. It is not a limiting factor in any way. -Producer Tim
America, number One
We love to see human beings solving problems for other human beings. Zach is a good example of a passionate builder. Those kinds of efforts improve the standard of living for all of us. -Producer Tim
I've seen a version on UA-cam from Europe.. it was super expensive... a model in usa.. I'm thinking a regular gas truck would be more financially realistic.. I would love to have one as a food truck concept. Or semi off-road bike rv
This company has no presence in Europe. Operational costs are lower for Semi Trike than any combustion alternative. Thanks for watching!
A way better option would be the Naxeon I AM. or I AM. Pro, which would be a much more safe and advanced bike with same or lower pricing than the Ryvid Anthem.
Your statement that Naxeon is superior to Anthem is underinformed and short sighted. We understand that there are many different priorities which motivate motorcycle purchases. Here are a few realities which render your emphatic statement as generally inapplicable. Naxeon does not have a removeable battery. Those of us who live where temperatures drop below freezing want to preserve our battery and may not have room inside our heated homes to store an entire motorcycle. Removal also makes indoor charging possible for those without access to reliable charging where they park their motorcycles. Some buyers want an American made motorcycle. Ryvid is that. Naxeon is not that. Naxeon has a fixed seat height which will not be appropriate for all riders. Anthem has a variable seat height which accommodates a wider range of riders and seated positions. Some riders are leery of a motorcycle which is always connected to the internet due to tracking, hacking, and botched OTA update vulnerabilities. The Anthem is not connected and does not pose any of those threats. The Naxeon is susceptible to all of those threats. The Naxeon color pallet is limited to white with purple, black with chartreuse, gray with chartreuse, and cyan with black. Some might consider the Naxeon aesthetic to be juvenile and ostentatious. The Anthem comes in several colors including black on black for those who prefer an understated aesthetic. Naxeon has some neat technological features, but they've also had some significant problems with those features working properly. Other reviewers have documented those functional shortcomings. We know Naxeon has updated in recent months to improve. We have been in communication with the Naxeon CEO for quite a while. We plan to film an equally thorough and honest review of a Naxeon motorcycle this spring. -Producer Tim
@@MissGoElectricRideReviews well written reply, especially in counter to a brash statement such as the Naxeon being "way better" or "way more safe" without any details as to why those statements are true!
I'm looking for an ebike that still lets me exercise, and I can hear it in your voice that the Soltera.2 still provides a workout. LOL
Every eBike has (at least) an on-off button. The rider decides how much assistance they want, if any. -Producer Tim

It seems to be designed for surfing where there are not waves. It would be interesting to see what a professional surfer would do with one of these in the ocean where there are large waves. -Producer Tim

Or just buy a portable electric power station like a ecoflow river pro that can charge your bike while you're outside
Options are numerous. The River would be sub-oprimal choice because its energy capacity is a small fraction of the motorcycle battery. -Producer Tim
Electric bikes, electric skis, electric surfboards...the electrification of recreational transportation is amazing!
Drive, Fly, Ride... Go Electric! -Producer Tim
I am confused. I am in the process of ordering the orange one. I noticed in your video and the video of some of the other UA-camrs. The bike looks different. The top bar is even with the back. But on others, it is two inches higher than the back. Why is that. Are they not the same or different series?
There is a small frame and a large frame. The dropper seat post allows for an instant change of the seat position relative to the top tube. -Producer Tim
I always use my throttle to take off from a dead stop....it's part of the safety ....to heavy to be pedaling when coming from dead stop......it's the whole point about ebikes ....especially for older or smaller people.
There are many ways to ride. That is one of 'em. Have fun out there! -Producer Tim

As far as the welds go,those welds look very good, wide and fluid some bikes I have seen have very thin welds with little material used those will crack over time.
Welds can be both robust and smooth. It is not a zero sum dilemma. -Producer Tim
I just bought this bike..just like EVERYTHING you buy nothing is going to have everything the way you want, that goes for cars,motorcycles..ect.
A simple truth. -Producer Tim
Turn signals? Nobody uses turn signals.😊
Wise riders do. -Producer Tim
I think besides the non shifting difference between riding a gas bike and something like this when compared to riding an eBike is you have to get used to using blinkers ALL the time. and Turning them off. I noticed early on in this video you were riding with your blinker on... On a motorcycle that can be EXTREMELY hazardous. An on coming vehicle might think you are turning and pull in front of you. It's bad enough they don't see us, but giving them the false sense that you are turning when you are not or that you are slowing without a blinker on and they rear-end you is very dangerous. We americans tend to forget to use our blinkers in our cars which is bad.. not using them on a bike is WAY WORSE.
Miss GoElectric commented about the blinkers in this video. We have other motorcycles which automatically turn blinkers off when a turn has completed (BMW CE04) It is important to communicate effectively on any bike or in any vehicle. -Producer Tim
@MissGoElectricRideReviews I was just pointing out that a LOT of people used to riding bikes, even e-bikes, aren't used to using blinkers. For motorcycles it's extremely important due to them having less visibility and speed/distance perception from other drivers.
im in london what options do i have here. do you know ?
There are no plans to export from North America. -Producer Tim Source: ua-cam.com/video/zFCARi4looI/v-deo.html
Thank you for the very informative review. You explain differences very eloquently. I find that this category of bike is many times has a very high seat height. It would be helpful if you can also tell us how high the seats are, or what size rider can comfortably ride each bike. Thank you and I am looking forward to more videos.
Thank you for your kind words about episode 5 of our eBike Buying Guide. Our detailed reviews always include rider height ranges as specified by the manufacturer. Inseam would be a better metric because leg length can vary even among people of identical height. Few manufacturers size based on inseam. Reviews of each bike features in this educational video are linked in the video description. You can explore many more eBike reviews at deals.missgoeoectric.com -Producer Tim
Love ice engines but interested to see electric motorcycles come along…two concerns are price and limited range …test rode the livewire Delmar fun but very limited range and pricey. I think the range and tech must improve for this to be viable. Don’t mind heavier it would provide more stability. The Royal Enfield Flea I’m keeping my eye out for
Motorcycles, boats, and airplanes will not go electric in a widespread manner until battery cost and density improve significantly. Ryvid and Naxeon are currently offering compelling commuters under $6k. The first electric motorcycle which offers a an 80mph top speed (at any state of charge), 200 miles of range, and a price point under $5k will dramatically displace internal combustion motorcycles. -Producer Tim
@@MissGoElectricRideReviews Not so sure about that. President Trump isn't a fan of electric and a lot of those incentives will be gone not to mention the infrastructure in the united states isn't great, especially in the South. Not to mention the electric cars has not sold like the automotive companies were hoping and electric is struggling in that avenue as well. I think expectations should be tempered somewhat and think the key would be hybrid as of now.
Your comment about EVs doesn't seem to be related to my comment. That said, I'm happy to respond. Tesla Model Y has been the world's best selling car for two years in a row. It is not just the best selling EV (also true) but the best selling car period. Over 30 million EVs are currently on the road globally. In America, nearly 1 in 10 new vehicles sold is fully electric. That take-rate is up 5x from just a few years ago. Did you know that most EV drivers only use public DC Fast chargers three or four days per year? Unlike gasoline vehicles, most EV owners plug in at home which is more convenient and *much* less expensive. Even low EV adoption states like Louisiana and Alabama have hundreds of public chargers for folks who are passing through on long road trips. Public and private funding has already been allocated to ensure that there are high speed charging options along every highway corridor no further than 50 miles apart throughout the entire country. We hope you'll join our weekly electrification news show to stay current: News.missgoelectric.com -Producer Tim
Great review, I just test rode one of these and I was very impressed with how nimble it felt. It is not a “ tank “ at all. I really liked the bike, I may get a new Cut throat e bike when they come out, but I may just spend less and get one of these….

I bought one and wasted my money for all the negatives you mentioned And More. Very honest review over all. Too the riding position doesn’t line up with the small short foot peddles and tiny-weenie chain ring, so it’s difficult to peddle. And let me tell you the coaster brake make crazy load creaking, grinding after using it. Sometimes it just continues but lo key till you tap the brake but it’s always a star up again when you do use it. The bike is crap! Keep in mind you have a good back people this bike was intended for do not. The bike need suspension.

For a few hundred bucks more, I would buy the new Naxeon IAM motorcycle, it has a range of 100 miles.

@@MissGoElectricRideReviewswhat size is the bike in the video?
It's rare to find ANY review channel of any product on UA-cam where an appreciable amount of time was spent on realistic constructive criticisms and doesn't come across as another ad-copy video. I really appreciate your "Improvement Opportunities" section. I've watched every other video produced by the other influencers in attendance at this Lectric event, and they are all pretty much the exact same video. The other videos are glowing and over the top praise without pointing out any useful insight into shortcomings. They come off as groveling to the brand in hopes of being invited back in the future and pushing affiliate sales, which I fully appreciate is how they make a living, but it changes how I view their content. That, or they aren't thinking very critically about the product. Contrast that to your nearly 5 minutes talking about shortcomings that we would all notice after purchase and using comparables to other bikes is incredibly helpful and shows you're not just another groveling regurgitation channel. You also do it in a constructive way grounded in reality and you're definitely not just roasting these issues for the sake of finding negatives. Nothing is perfect. It's still a great bike! If I end up purchasing I'll be using your affiliate link as a result. Cheers!
I’d like to see a review of the Nexeon IAM e-motorcycle
Coming this spring. Subscribe to be notified when we publish. -Producer Tim
Makes sense that you couldn’t use an e-bike for a motorcycle endorsement because there’s no real difference between an e-bike and e-motorcycle because it’s clutchless. Traditional gas powered motorcycles and thus, the endorsement course, is exclusively about low speed clutch work. On an e-motorcycle there’s nothing to learn if you can ride an e-bike already which the endorsement courses only requirement is to know how to ride a bike. Realistically you shouldn’t need an endorsement for an E-motorcycle outside of understanding traffic laws and regulations so I get it, but on the plus side you can manage a gas motorcycle as well now.
We are happy about the education and found a great deal of safety value in the course. We found that moving a heavier machine among highway traffic at much higher speeds was sufficiently differentiated from our experiences riding a bicycle. Many hours of learning and testing clutch skills were not helpful. In many ways, that emphasis and context was detrimental to formative e-motorcycle skills development. Thanks for commenting! -Producer Tim
This was an actual honest review and you pointed out a few things that make me hesitant to buy it, which I appreciate. I am still leaning towards this being the best bike for me in this price range though. I really hope this channel grows. It's refreshing to see more honestly in an Ebike review amidst a see of biased reviewers likely driven by commission. I would love to see a review for the Vanpower grand Teton Pro as that one seems to stand out to me but doesn't have the reputation Lectric has.

It's actually a 500W (nominal) motor. 750 at peak. Very misleading.
750 peak. 14MPH top speed. Aligned with our reporting. -Producer Tim
Buyers beware! I have four of these bikes or should I say I am stuck with four of these bikes. My fault, I purchased all of them way too close together. Have had nothing but issues. I received my dual motor promax 8 months ago and still can’t get it right. They sent me parts trying to fix it. They sent me a controller that slowed my bike down from a 45 mph bike to a 38 mph bike. Then they tell me my speed is fine. After two months of fighting with them. They finally just sent me another controller, I haven’t even had time to install it yet to see if it works. This will be the third controller. I’ve had to replace in this bike that did not work. ( MY SHOCK WONT HOLD AIR ) I tried replacing the core valve. Put soapy water on the whole top of the shocking valve stem. No leaks there. I have to loosen and move the handlebars and re-fill it every time I go riding. I have walked out twice in my garage to find my expensive bike laying on the concrete because the forks went empty. They tell me that’s OK. You have to put air in them periodically. My battery only goes down to 48v allowing me to only go 40 miles. Not to mention all the other issues I had with the single motorbikes. if you don’t have a lot of tools and willing to work on these bikes. Stay away from them. I am not just speaking for me and my four bikes but also a lot of people I know on Facebook. It’s just a fact. if you look at all of their reviews on their site and Amazon, including mine. Most of the reviews are with the bike being brand new. I could go on and on with proof and pictures. But all I can say to everybody is if you have not purchased one yet, stay away from Aniioki.
Fortunately tires are inexpensive and readily available from third parties. Typically, warranties do not cover consumables such as tires and innertubes. That said, in this review we do warn viewers that Aniioki is not a known and reputable brand...and that the components on this bike are mostly generic with unproven longevity. Thank you for sharing your opinions. -Producer Tim
So let me tell you a little story about this company. After seeing hundreds of ads pop up in my internet feed the carbon one peaked my interest. I did my research I read my reviews and finally I decided to order the bicycle. I was excited to place the order. Within 24 hours of place in my order I tore my ACL while working on the border. I'm going to be off work for 4 to 6 months at 45% disability pay. I contacted the company and asked for them to cancel the order figuring it would be financially responsible to cancel at this point and to reorder the bike at a later time. After multiple back and forth emails of them asking me to reconsider cancellation they told me there would be a $289 cancellation fee because I financed through a credit company that they recommended on their website. I contacted the finance company and they told me there is no 13% cancellation fee on their end. So now I'm stuck paying close to $300 and not have anything or spend $2,200 on a bike that I cannot ride until next summer.Urtopia put the $ ahead of good customer relations. I will be posting this story on every UA-cam review of this bike and will be sharing it with the extremely large biking community in tucson

4ft. Sized to fit in within a single regulation bike lane. -Producer Tim
Will you do a review on the Naxeon I AM ever?
Naxeon offered a review unit to us last month but it is winter here in Michigan. We have agreed to review one in the spring. -Producer Tim
@@MissGoElectricRideReviews I'll be looking forward to it! thank you for the insane fast reply :)
I bought my bike on 11/20/24..I can only say it is a Beast. Solid bike, well built and powerful. Like the safety features great brakes, lights and turn signals. Battery lasts a long time unless you throttle only.

What ebike do you have for your personal use? I just can't decide...am 65 and 5'4". Thanks for your excellent reviews!
Thanks for writing. Miss GoElectric is about 6ft tall and primarily rides in rural areas. She has 30-80 eBikes at any given moment and rotates without one clear primary choice. We created a video series to help buyers Marie down choice with but sized education. Each video has chapters so you can skip around: Guide.missgoelectric.com -Producer Tim
I wonder who makes their motors. Do they use poly/plastic gears, metal or metal covered poly/plastic? That would be a great to know for durability.
The motors are branded by Lectric rather than being branded by suppliers such as Bafang, Brose, or Shimano. The warranty is one year. lectricebikes.com/pages/lectric-ebikes-manufacturers-warranty -Producer Tim
how far can you go 28mph on long range battery in miles
That is impossible to answer. Too many factors. Surface type, topography, temperature, wind, rider shape and weight, and tire pressure all affect range. -Producer Tim
Hi, the wife and I want to get a bike but we don't know what to get. They are so many out there and different prices. We are in our 60's and want to ride in our small town and on the beaches when we go. Most of the time we go to Hilton Head SC or somewhere close. I don't want to pay too much for our first bike. What do you think for good starter bike. And we be riding on roads and sand on the beaches. Thanks.
You'll want to watch our eBike buying guide to learn how to find the right bike for your needs and price. Chances are good that your uses, limitations, and options will become more clear after you watch a couple of episodes. Guide.missgoelectric.com -Producer Tim

Laze E Bike 🙅🏻♂️
Go twice as far, see twice as much, smile twice as much. That is the joy of eBikes. Even people with disabilities, injuries, or advanced age can feel like a kid again. All human beings should welcome the happiness of other humans beings. It's not a zero-sum world, Larry. No need to be sour. Riding a bike is lazy compared to walking. Walking with shoes is lazy compared to walking barefoot. How far do we take it? Silly game. -Producer Tim
Most of you cons for the bike are geared towards a commuter bike. If that’s what someone wants then buy a commuter. This is a mountain bike. If you want all of the features you were asking for then buy a bike that costs $500 - $600 dollars more.
Your math is wrong. This is not a pie in the sky wishlist. Other fat tire eBikes at this price point which we have reviewed already offer all of the features we mentioned. See for yourself: Deals.missgoelectric.com -Producer Tim
Thanks for the ride. What is rattling so much ?
That is the controller.
possibly.
