Buying the right ebike for you and your priorities is the most important so you can get the most enjoyment and use out of it! Thanks for commenting Pedro :)
They are all lightweight eBikes. I mentioned some of the weights in the video that are notably lightweight like the Propella at 1:55 and Velotric T1ST at 5:45 but I have detailed reviews of each bike linked in the description.
Great to see you selection of lightweight road bikes. Great very helpful info as always. Not so great is that Ebikes are evolving so rapidly that some of your "fleet" is getting long in tooth and a bit outdated - not your fault, it just they way the industry rolls. I had pretty well settled on an Aventon Soltera.2 ST. I was dismayed to contact a local shop today only to learn that Aventon has discontinued that model in the regular, ST size. 😮💨 I don't get that, it has across the board rave reviews! Regular (non-ST) is still available. Maybe the ST just wasn't selling well??? The Aventon Pace 500 is still available & nicely updated from your bike to 55.3 model. Likewise Propella 9S V2 is nicely updated & looks like that may be my choice with the disappearance of the Soltera.2 Thanks for your reviews! ua-cam.com/users/sgaming/emoji/7ff574f2/emoji_u1f62e_200d_1f4a8.png
We filmed the series last fall. Making time to publish and edit has been tough now that we've got the channels. We hope to have these all up in March. We have had an advance look at what several eBike companies will release in 2024. It's going to be a very good year for buyers. We look forward to publishing more reviews of eBikes at or ahead of launch within a month. Thanks for commenting. -Producer Tim PS Miss GoElectric did get to ride the Pace 500.3 on our national GoElectric Group Ride tour last year. It's excellent. Here are the videos in that series: ua-cam.com/play/PL5nuLBN5_QSdsOvT7XaqV-zyIIT8r_fdP.html
@@MissGoElectricRideReviews Yeah, that was awhile back. You and Tim are ambitious, busy beavers (or Wolverines). I think I'm going to take a Propella S9 V2 for a ride this week or next as it specs pretty close the the Aventon Soltera.2 except it lacks a throttle. The Propellas company headquarters is just 20 miles from me. Can you give any hints of what Aventon is doing to replace the Soltera -- or any other similar road/light light trail Ebikes that are scheduled for release in the next 6 months? I'll look forward to seeing your 2024 reviews!
We sign non disclosure agreements with the manufacturers when we provide input on prospective products or receive bikes to review before they launch. We can only offer details about products and lineup strategy when the embargos have lifted. Generally speaking, the Soltera.2 is less than one year old. It is not a likely candidate for replacement.@@danhall3450 Have fun on your Propella test drive!
Gasoline is exponentially more dangerous. We have over 60 eBike batteries and many more have passed through our studio. That includes bargain-basement no name brands. We have never experienced a battery issue. Typically fires result from users modifying batteries, storing them in sheds where temperatures exceed 130 degrees, or charge with the wrong chargers. We do not do those things. @SLAYJUCE Here are some tips: ua-cam.com/users/shortscp_BqsylWCs?si=dC4xgULtpvfk75f2
I still prefer the Aventon 350 from this list. May not be the best bike, but for me it is the RIGHT bike.

Fun to see some brief footage in my area again in the intro! These comparisons should really help e-bike potential buyers!
The group rides have been an important part of the journey to be helpful in this way. We appreciate your participation on many levels.

Should have bought a two stroke 😎
Some people like fixing things which break, changing oil, keeping gas cans around. It's not really our bag. -Producer Tim
