This interactive 360º panorama shows the reforestation area "Nordamerika" of theForest Botanical Garden of Tharandt. It is composed by to images, one taken in 2011 and another in 2015. Here’s another tip, if you are mapping a mountain if possible start at the top and end your mission at the base to maximise your area coverage

How much flight time does it take to 3D model a big tree, say something like banyan tree ?
It depends on several factors. Roughly you must think about the tree surface as the surface you would map with the drone when doing normal mapping. I.e. factors like canopy surface, photo overlap, etc, all play a role and define the final time of mapping. Half an hour would be a typical time, though.

what is the name and model of the fixed wing @1:01
That is a DIY project based mainly on open source equipment and software. The frame is known as Skywalker and the autopilat is the PIXHAWK. You'll find it around there. You might want to visit our page openforets.com for some work we did with it. Also, there is a drone workshop page at training.openforests.com We build this type of drone for our clients. Cheers
