Aerial footage (stabilized) - UAV recognition flight - Tarapoto, Perú - Nov. 2015 - by OpenForests

This video recorded during a demonstration, test and recognition flight in Tarapoto in Perú, November 2015. The flight took place during a consultancy work for the local conservation authorities in collaboration with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The goal of the work was to identify the usability of drones to monitor and detected illegal activities in the "Área de Conservación Regional Cordillera Escalera" in San Martin, Perú, a massif of extremely difficult access for park rangers.
The investigations were concluded with a 125 pages report with a list of potential drones capable to operate in the harsh environment of the "Cordillera".
