Moto posseduta nel 1980 quando avevo 18 anni, identica alla mia ad eccezione delle ruote, montava le grimeca in lega. Quanti bellissimi ricordi indelebili era la 350 più veloce del mondo, tenuta di strada impeccabile, affidabile e parca nel consumo di benzina. Poi arrivo la yamaha rd 350 a due tempi che conoscevo bene avendo un amico che la possedeva, ma la Morini era superiore come tenuta di strada. plus if only they only Ducati had the front 2 cylinders exhaust pipes exit behind the right foot peg as the actual race bike - it would of sound even more amazing

Deep joy and happy memories 🙂🏁 Back in the 80’s I had a Rickman CR1000 and a GT750 kettle…….. the kettle was ported heavily, jetted, geared…… with an Applebee crank and Allspeeds 😊. Not a patch on a TZ but lively and tuneful……. A chap called Nick Foot(?) had a similarly altered GT kettle and we used to make music along the Epping New Road to the splendid High Beech - Epping……. The point to this nostalgic ramble, we used to ride with a chap called Rob Green(?) on a barely Road legalised TZ750, needless to say we couldn’t catch him……… and another chap with a Moto Martin Venom, which I recall had stickers on the fairing saying it achieved 163mph at MIRA 🙂🇬🇧 By far the most trick at that time was a mates Sanders & Lewis GT750, with Dymags and a three into one…….. sounded a lot quicker than it actually was, stock engine and three into one wasn’t optimum………. Great to see and hear the TZ 🏁

Was ridden by Leon Haslam in 2004 in WSBK and he had 2 wild cards in BSB in 04. Won a BSB race at Brands

Lavilla won his only BSB title in 2005 on the old WSBK 999 f04. So that's not his title winning bike

The flapper valve in the exhaust is to regulate back pressure,,To heat up the engine quicker,,,,I have one on my Dacia duster 1.5 dci,,,,And no I'm not joking,,,

I love Darmah's. My pal had a red and white one of these, Conti exhausts of course. I rode it once on a 50 mile run. Lovely machine to my engineers ear.

I have a 74 Sport 3 1/2 with original paint. Ludicrously optimistic speedo and terrible charging system but otherwise brilliant to ride. Big drum up front stops on a thrupenny bit. Great fun in the twisties. You have to row it along like a two stroke RD350, and more than the occasional false neutral in the 6-speed box, but wow it is real fun.

Put a sound recorder elsewhere on the bike (out of wind noise) to capture the engine sound. GoPros don't cut it for that.

I had a choice after a good year 1976 with the fish I tried Laverda Jota but didn’t like it one bit then the MV Augusta 750 but was put off by tales of dodgy electrics and other faults so I settled on a Ducati 900 ss which was a great bike apart from some dodgy electrics all of these I saw at a little bike shop in North Shields long ago now 1976 I think it was called Cam or Kam motorcycles, someone might remember. Oh they were all in the three grand price bracket, seems cheap now but not then.

Anyone know what shade of greeny looking grey that is on the headstock and engine covers? Saw one down at Pro Twins in Godstone about 20 years ago. Absolutely stunning.
