@lussoveloce BTW..Nice review. I have a new D16RR Rosso painted model in factory shipping crate if you know anyone interested. Located in Charlotte, NC.
My father had the lucky opportunity of riding his good friends one (which he still owns and uses to this day), told me it was a once in a lifetime experience.
No Abs, No anti wheelie, No Nothing except throttle to engine sensations ! A nice easy to ride bike until 4500 rpm then watch out on cold tires , im lucky to have # 0845 for me its the last of the low tech Bikes where the rider controls the Machine !! Just wonderfully Wild.
Watched quite a few utube videos off the desmos and they were amazing to watch,, lottery tickets stuff for me,,but we can dream ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland
Such a statement by Ducati when they released this bike.. Today its still spoken about with reverence.. But for me, as a young guy in the early 90s watching Falappa and Co in WSB.. I still have much want instead for a mint 888 SP5 to put in my garage.
Amazing, thank’s for feeding our senses. Yes, they sure does sound special… that type of gp rumble that you just don’t get from the new panigale v4… wish my did though..
The most special and sexy modern exotic sportbike of them all. Hope to add one to my Ducati stable before I die, and if that means spending near 100 large, that's what it means.
Holy good mama Jesus!!!!----!!!!! Definitely my absolute favorite production motorcycle period! Question, why didn't they race these in wsbk? 1500 should be plenty to homologate right?
plus if only they only Ducati had the front 2 cylinders exhaust pipes exit behind the right foot peg as the actual race bike - it would of sound even more amazing
I think you need to get your details right, - 1500 team and 1500 Rosso ?? - NO just 1500 in total, I believe it was 600 team version and 400 rosso, but that`s an estimate, - I owned #0687 for a few glorious years, brutal power and razor sharp handling, I still miss mine..
I agree with u about this sounding better than the V4 panigale. It does! This is the best sounding Ducati ever built! Cant beat the sound of a motogp V4
"I hope it doesn't distort the mic too much". That.was.glorious.
Small correction. 1500 total were produced. Of the 1500, there were 228 Red "Rosso" and 1272 Red/White "Team" paint schemes.
Yes thanks, you are absolutely correct

In order to complete in WSBK the motorcycle will need to be a production bike and have a 40,000 USD cap.
Im negotiating with 2 right now🤣👍👍 beautiful beast

Molto Bello
Think you bought mine a year ago. I was going to correct you on the numbers but someone already has.
Yes please.
Correction: 1500 made in total. (Not 1500 First and then another 1500 after.)
16.5 inch rear wheel
10000rpm to 13500 rpm it picked up 75hp at the wheel
There's one in the crate in Charlotte, NC sadly it has sat with the blue antifreeze in it so likely needs a new engine.
!!! 5:42
Freaking loud
