This 1972 Boler camper renovation / Before and After is a MUST-SEE... if I do say so myself :) After a year of dedicated work, this iconic camper has been completely transformed. From the frame to the ceiling, no detail was overlooked. In this episode, I finish installing my fancy new skylight! I will admit I chose the most ramshackle technique possible, but with some help from my brother, I feel good about the outcome! My road trip is coming up so soon!

The original 1972 Vent cover didn't let light in, but it did let water in. It was time for an upgrade. In this video, I decided to try my hand at doing it myself. Cross your fingers for me!

a dual action sander would have helped the bumpiness from all the sanding . using a grinder although faster produces alot of waviness in the surface . nice work on the camper
Great job on the camper, talented young lady.
Beautiful woman cute camper great project. Well done.
😍
My favorite part is when you and your twin sister are both sanding, in bikinis. ❤
You should have sealed the plywood top and bottom. Nice job 🎉
You need a bigger camper.... just for your wardrobe..
Why would you choose an RV that doesn't have any experience?
You need to be careful with vibrating tools, my middle digit and the one next to it are tingly from years of using tools and fingering. Take regular breaks 🤙
My sincerest condolences about the passing of Willow.
A two piece bikini 😒
Greetings Ellie, your work and restoration is excellent... Great to see a beautiful and young girl, dedicated to this lifestyle, it is the dream of freedom... You inspire us, I am from Santiago de Chile and I work on my own design of a "Truck Camper" and it is an art and a great hobby, to improve your lifestyle... Success...
❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 buen trabajo bravo
I can't figure out why you'd use an angle grinder of any sort in a bikini. That's just asking for injury.
What are you talking about - I always use an angle grinder while wearing a thong when I decide to sand down fiberglass. All the guys in the shop typically leave me alone even ;-)
i'm so shocked there aren't more comments adressing this 😭 i get that it's hot but that is dangerous!
You just got recommended, I'm glad too, You did an amazing job
Wow ❤
You didn’t even get a tan no bikini line
I am 70 and a retired 747 Cargo Captain just taking it easy and I have been around the world a Hundred Times. I have 26000 hours of flight experience that is almost Three Years in the sky. I commend you on your work and your bikinis. You should be Miss Universe. You got them all beat, and I mean every last one of them. Sorry about your Best Friend same happened to me. I am a Vietnam/Cambodian Veteran 9 years of college with a Doctorate in Aviation. Thank you for the videos from my Ranch in Texas.
So glad you ditched the sunglasses. Great job on the Boler! So sorry about Willow 😔 I just went and gave my dog a treat !

oh good to know! next time, I will keep it on for longer :) thanks for watching
I honestly would of kept the way it looked from the outside. Gave it character. Oh and by the way u look so sexy and beautiful in that bikini of urs. It def surprised me when i seen ya sanding in it. I was like now there is the woman of my dreams right there lol. Keep up the hard work amd much love to ya again from Maryland ❤❤❤
i know what you mean, it was kind of a vibe.. i had the thought (too late) that it would be cool to just refresh the top in a fresh white and do a slick polish on the bottom but here we are .. shes still cute though! and thanks ;p
New sub here. Just want to say awesome job and keep up the hard work and dedication towards the channel and much love to ya from Maryland ❤❤❤. Rip Willow. May u continue to watch over momma

i need better tools for the next restoration, I had to get creative 😆
You did an outstanding job , congratulations
Thanks so much for watching 😊
Ellie, so sorry about Willow, she was one of my favorite parts of the whole series. Always there keeping her eye on you, making sure you didn't mess anything up too bad 😹 She was a majestic looking Shepard, friend and companion. I have a picture of my pup right in front of me on my desk and she passed in 2010 and I still miss her dearly. Maybe I'll get a turtle next, I hear they live just about forever 🐢
Aw thank you so much... she was my favourite part too 🥹. I wasn't sure if I should end my triumphant video with such sad news, but it just happened and I felt that since she was there from start to finish, it would be wrong not to honour her at the end... I am so grateful to have had her by my side ❤... I'm sure 14 years from now my heart will still miss her but that's love :)
@OnlyCampers perfect ending for your journey restoring the Boler. Seems only right to honor her the way you did at the end 👊
😀😀😀😀😀😀
That countertop is fantastic. An amazing job all around. Great video, Thanks.
Thanks so much for watching :)
Good job. I'm impressed.
So sorry for the loss of Willow. R.I.P Willow.

Je te trouve belle quand même ❤
good job!!
Thanks !
Merry Christmas love your videos
Whoever advised you to sand the paint is not a friend.
In regards to heating, you have two good choices and a fair one. Using a propane RV furnace, a newer version of what the Boler came with originally, has similar downsides to the diesel heater, it is noisy and bulky. However, both of those install inside cabinets, so they are out of the way. The propane takes about the same amount of time to start up, but no high electric draw, the fan is the only power draw and that is similar to the diesel heater. The propane tank would easily mount to the trailer tongue. Some gas stations will fill the tank while it's mounted, but others are strict about their policy that you remove the tank from the trailer and set it on the ground before they fill it. Which is a pain. The diesel heater is safer in an accident, because diesel does not ignite easily. Propane is quick to start a fire if there is any small leak. Where the diesel heater shines for a lot of camper nomads, is when they are driving a diesel powered van. They tap into the vehicle's diesel tank, so they do not need a fuel tank for the heater. Both propane and diesel heaters exhaust their combustion gases outside, which reduces the chances of carbon monoxide poisoning. Propane does produce CO gas, but the diesel heater don't if it's properly running, but either way it's going outside rather than in your camper. That said, having a CO detector a good idea. The third option, a propane "catalytic" heater. There are true catalytic heaters that are in the $500 price range, and the camping models that are $80-$120. The true catalytics are safer and more efficient. Both do not produce carbon monoxide when properly functioning. However, since their exhaust is going into your living space and malfunctions are crucial to discover. So having a CO detector or two is vitally important. Just as they exhaust into your living space, they also use oxygen that you need to breate, so you must crack a couple windows open when using them. Another big drawback to these is that they increase the humidity a lot. So when with the windows open slightly, you will get condensation inside your camper, which will increase chance of mold, especially aroud windows.
Great video love your Boler
Nice. Great looking work!
Good, careful job.
telegrammmm?🎉🎉🎉
Should have clear coated over psychedelic history, amazing paterns of color 😀
Stop being adorable and handy with a sander.
Yep because beautiful women always do this type of work in a thong bikini.
That’s very nice camper I love the rear end the most though
You look great in that bikini. Thank. You
Thanks for the thorough tour. I had a diesel heater in my last 2 semis that I drove cross country in the US. Kept me very warm in the winter. Also, had a battery operated A/C. Four deep cycle marine batteries would keep the A/C running for 10 hours.
