Yes he is! The reaper is waterproof and rated for winds up to 30 miles per hour according to SVI. Mine has seen plenty of rain this pat week and so far so good. Thanks for watching!

What? I'm not crying, my eyes just sweat a lot sometimes. It would be sweet if you got to visit his haunt and not only support a great young man but also see his cool collaboration with Distortions in person. I loved this story and prop so much, I knew I had to stop editing my other videos and make this. And one good deed begets another, because it lead to the creation of the second coolest monster ever, Monsta Man!

I remember reading about Batkid. Such a cool idea, I would have loved to be part of it. While in my head I could have played Bane, more likely I would have been cast as the Penguin, lol. It's amazing how the whole city made it happen, nice to see people coming together for a great cause.

While I think the reaper is a cooler prop because it moves and I love his look, if you want something that feels massive and is more impressive from the street then the Inferno Pumpkin is probably a better buy for you. I don't have the Inferno Pumpkin, but I have the 12 foot Skeleton and the Inferno Deadwood Skeleton. The reaper, while still a huge prop, feels a lot smaller than both of those props. I also think the Inferno Pumpkin probably is one of the most impressive props form the street because of the way he lights up. Both great buys, depends on what you want, but based on your question the Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton might be a better fit.

Poor Michael, he deserves a better hair stylist. Most of my animatronics get boxed up, a few end up in my office space as year round decorations, and my 12 foot skeleton dared the new England winter and survived. That said, by May I had built Frankenstein's Monster and Darth Vader who now occupy my living room along with the Werewolf I performed eye surgery on. So it isn't long before things creep back into our living space. If I had the space to leave them up, I probably would, it would just be easier, plus I could enjoy them more often.

Yup, these podcasts take me way too long to edit. I have to say, the projection they used is actually really good, so I do like him better than I thought I would. Add another half skull to my score. If I did a carnival theme he would be a definite purchase.

@@chrisg2419 The plan right now is to build my pirate ship where they are standing. So while they will definitely be either part of the haunt or part of the party decorations, they can't stay where they are. You would think I would be smart enough to build him where I can keep him up, but nope, I did not, lol.

I am wondering that myself. The "layered demon voice" is only mentioned on one phrase, but it seems strange they would only use that once. Like you said, the phrase they show is only the kid singing voice. Kind of a bummer if they don't use the demon voice more often. Guess we'll find out when people start getting him. I'm loving the podcasts. You guys really touch on everything. Out of that lineup the corpse bride animatronics are the clear winners imo.

Hahaha, I mess up all the time with these, and I always think I am pretty competent at it. Clearly not, lol. Good to know I'm not the only one. Reaper is awesome, I think you'll be very happy with him.

Overall he isn't too bad to put together (even if I did make a bunch of mistakes.) I feel the witch is a bit more frustrating due to the bottom of the broom. Otherwise they are pretty similar. But he is totally worth it and I believe is a much better prop than the witch. I think you'll love it.

The paint does look darker in the videos. I did pick this up but did not open it yet, so when I do my video review I will let you know if it looks really off in person. If it does I will probably just paint mine, but it is kind of silly if we have to just to make it look right. The color should be the easiest part to get correct.

Glad you got this awesome prop, even if you have to wait a little longer. Honestly, I probably could have waited, I have three 12 footers standing in my driveway right now and they all have to come down soon so I can start building my haunt. Reaper is awesome though, it'll be worth the wait.

I agree that he is one of the best! Really love this one so far. The build quality is pretty good, so I think he would fair well enough in the wind. That said, we don't often get crazy wind here (especially in my driveway which is cut into the ground) so I can't say for sure. Thanks for watching!

Hahaha, don't you love how we can convince ourselves that we need to buy more cool Halloween props? I did that with a couple of items during our Home Depot stream, and so far I am happy with everything I received. Of course, you really could make an amazing underworld scene with those props together, so I agree!

I really like him; he is a great statement piece for any haunt. If Home Depot continues the current trend, then they will most likely have him back next year. Especially if he sells well. They brought back the 12 ft witch for the third time this year with a costume change, so I expect the same for this guy. Thanks for watching!

Audio sounds better in person. Maybe it could be a little a clearer, but I didn't think it was too bad. You'll notice in my video that occasionally you hear the jaw hit. Not enough to be too distracting, but that is definitely there. I have to see about fixing that. I am pretty happy with him, he is an intimidating presence. I'll have to see what others are complaining about, but for $300 I am impressed. Awesome that you got Chucky! He looks so good. I hope I get to see him in person. I enjoy the Child's Play movies, and while I have no way to use Chucky in my haunt, I still kind of want this just for how amazing of a prop he is. It's $120 for a three pack, so I don't think that's bad. Now the First Mate is $150 and basically uses the same body, but it has a full servo head and moving arm, so even that is reasonable I think. Thanks for watching!

That spider is amazing, I even like it better than the spider alien they made this year, its just a fun take on classic Halloween. Love their tree too, hope you are able to pick it up. The products are great, and you get to support great people. It's a win/win!

I was hoping for a servo skeleton but did not expect it when we got the updated eye skeleton back in April. Home Depot is bringing out cool props at a great price, and if it helps them sell more sheds I am all about it, lol.

The Spirit lineup this year definitely cannot compete, and I always see broken props each year in the Spirit stores. Home Depot price and quality definitely makes them the king of Halloween right now.

Couldn't agree more. You can't beat the Home Depot/Distortions Unlimited combo. Not only is the quality great, but they had the best selection of awesome Halloween characters too!

I agree Lee, but I think we could see that change going forward. The servo Chucky is the best licensed animatronic ever made, and Universal Frankenstein's Monster is up there too. The 13' Jack Skellington was great, though I think a nine foot would have been a more realistic take on the character. Home Depot's Star Wars props are great, but could be amazing if they didn't put dumb holiday phrases instead of just classic movie lines. I think Spirit's licensed props this year are pretty good (except Michael Myers is awful) but they aren't Chucky level. He really set the new bar for licensed animatronics.

Thank you for the condolences. I am in Rhode Island and go to Newport often. It's beautiful there, but gets so crowded in the summer. I agree that the gap between home haunts and professional is narrowing more every year. It is crazy how good some home haunts are now. Thank you for watching!
