I love the look of this years Spirit Halloween line-up. It truly had heart and soul put into it with the unique look of their animatronic's and unique concepts.🤡🎪

I agree that the feel of this lineup is really good this year. I think the most thought was put into the Carnevil props, and while that is not my favorite theme, I do think some of those props are really good (Bobby Strings is currently my favorite of that group.) The oddities are a bit more simplistic in design, but some of those are great props too. Definitely looking forward to seeing the rest of Spirit's catalog and so excited for more info from Home Depot as well. Thanks for watching!
The lineup this year is great in my opinion.. but there are certain props that have disappointed me. Weirdly some of the better props are the carnival themed stuff.. even some of the clowns are good!!

I feel they definitely focused on the Carnival props as most of the other props seem like less thought was involved. Doesn't mean they are bad, just not so original or impressive. Spirit's pricing this year is better though, I feel like they are competing with Home Depot on that front. Looking forward to your upcoming video. Hope you had a great vacation!

They never get the mask/hair right on Michael. It would be cool if they added that heat-sensing tech to him and have his eyes/head follow people since there isn’t much movement / sound effects you can do with him. Speaking of sound, why didn’t they use the regular /recognizable Halloween theme music with him instead of that piano music (I get it’s similar piano vibe as the scenes with Laurie, but I didn’t recognize it from any particular scene in the soundtrack).
Agreed. Michael Myers should be the easiest animatronic to make, yet they all end up looking awful. The tracking for Michael Myers would be awesome. I think it would be more effective and creepier on a silent prop, and he would be the perfect choice. I'm kind of bummed they wasted it on an otherwise generic clown prop. I'll be honest, I was so focused on the terrible hair I didn't even notice the music. Definitely a weird choice. Give us what we want, the classic theme song. I also wish all props came with a no background music/sound effect option, just give us what the character is doing. Great points, as always!
@@ScareDad yeah. Definitely would be nice if they started integrating more of a “standby” mode… give us some form of lighting when it isn’t motion triggered, then have the motion trigger additional Lighting/movement/sound…. would be nice if they started including more spot lights/uplighting on props. (Sort of like how Lilly has a light in her staff that shines on her face) but it could be a constant light and then when prop is triggered it could do flicker/dimming/strobe/etc whatever effect fits the prop. Michael would look good with some sort of spotlight/strobe that triggers to give more of a jump scare.

I love the tech behind Nibbles and think he looks really good. I just wish the clown design wasn't quite as generic. But he is definitely one of the best props from Spirit this year. Fun to see, but nothing I'm really interested in. I thought nibbles is great for a clown with the new technology. The corpse bride props look the best but I can't believe they didn't make the mouths move! I agree, the Myers prop looks pretty bad and they gave the head tilt to ghost face instead. 😡 Sadly my favorite is probably the night terror lol.
Agreed! Love the Nibbles tech, I would prefer it be on a unique concept and not a standard clown. Corpse Bride animatronics look great, if I were to pick them up maybe just turn the volume down so they appear to just move and not talk, playing the theme song behind them to cover the servo sounds. The Ghost Face neck tilt makes him look like there is no neck, so it looks weird to me. Night Terror for the win!
I really wanted to get excited for spirit but I have gotten use to their brand of disappointment, the reskins have gotten old and some of these looked like sunstar props, there some that are decent but nothing really wows you. Great honest break down. I like the marionette and the pumpkin girl are promising
That's my issue with Spirit, the level of quality varies greatly. Sometimes they have some really cool stuff, but too often half their lineup is mediocre. I was happy to see them pushing some new tech with Nibbles, I just wish the rest of the prop wasn't such a generic concept. It's funny, because for a while you could order a bunch of these, but none of them felt like must buys so I was content to sit this one out. Appreciate you watching!
