I told myself I didn't need the Levitating Reaper because I already have a 10' reaper, 15' phantom, and 12' ghost for my cemetery. After watching a few videos, I'm telling myself I could use it with the Predator of the Night and Ferry of the Dead to make a cool underworld scene. 😆
Hahaha, don't you love how we can convince ourselves that we need to buy more cool Halloween props? I did that with a couple of items during our Home Depot stream, and so far I am happy with everything I received. Of course, you really could make an amazing underworld scene with those props together, so I agree!

@@chrisg2419 The plan right now is to build my pirate ship where they are standing. So while they will definitely be either part of the haunt or part of the party decorations, they can't stay where they are. You would think I would be smart enough to build him where I can keep him up, but nope, I did not, lol.

Just picked mine up! Definitely looks cool and spooky! A little intimidated now after seeing the assembly. Not exactly as intuitive to put together as most props… so I can see why everyone complains about the witches assembly.
Overall he isn't too bad to put together (even if I did make a bunch of mistakes.) I feel the witch is a bit more frustrating due to the bottom of the broom. Otherwise they are pretty similar. But he is totally worth it and I believe is a much better prop than the witch. I think you'll love it.

I agree that he is one of the best! Really love this one so far. The build quality is pretty good, so I think he would fair well enough in the wind. That said, we don't often get crazy wind here (especially in my driveway which is cut into the ground) so I can't say for sure. Thanks for watching!

That intro😂 How's his audio in person? HD canceled my order from the orginal release so now I'm not sure if I want to get it again since I've heard complaints about it. PS: this is "firstname" from the livestream. I ended up getting Chucky later on that day after I messaged costumer service to change his Hanukkah listing lol. Thankfully that order didn't get canceled and he's coming tomorrow. Thanks again for the tips that day!
Audio sounds better in person. Maybe it could be a little a clearer, but I didn't think it was too bad. You'll notice in my video that occasionally you hear the jaw hit. Not enough to be too distracting, but that is definitely there. I have to see about fixing that. I am pretty happy with him, he is an intimidating presence. I'll have to see what others are complaining about, but for $300 I am impressed.
Awesome that you got Chucky! He looks so good. I hope I get to see him in person. I enjoy the Child's Play movies, and while I have no way to use Chucky in my haunt, I still kind of want this just for how amazing of a prop he is. It was a lot of fun hanging out on Home Depot night, I appreciate you joining us!

I really like him; he is a great statement piece for any haunt. If Home Depot continues the current trend, then they will most likely have him back next year. Especially if he sells well. They brought back the 12 ft witch for the third time this year with a costume change, so I expect the same for this guy. Thanks for watching!

Glad you got this awesome prop, even if you have to wait a little longer. Honestly, I probably could have waited, I have three 12 footers standing in my driveway right now and they all have to come down soon so I can start building my haunt. Reaper is awesome though, it'll be worth the wait.

between this and the pumpkin inferno which one is better? my fear with this one is that it won't look as big as the floor to head inferno
While I think the reaper is a cooler prop because it moves and I love his look, if you want something that feels massive and is more impressive from the street then the Inferno Pumpkin is probably a better buy for you. I don't have the Inferno Pumpkin, but I have the 12 foot Skeleton and the Inferno Deadwood Skeleton. The reaper, while still a huge prop, feels a lot smaller than both of those props. I also think the Inferno Pumpkin probably is one of the most impressive props form the street because of the way he lights up. Both great buys, depends on what you want, but based on your question the Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton might be a better fit.
The first thing you should be putting on this is the price how much is it?!🎉
This reaper is $300 and should be appearing in stores soon. In my area no Home Depots have Halloween out yet, but in other places the stores are fully set up, so that just depends on where you live. Thanks for watching!
How does it holdup in the wind and rain?
No issues with rain at all. Mine was in my driveway so not staked down and the wind did knock him over once. More my fault than the prop though, as he should be staked to the ground and supported in some way. I kept him down after that, but he appears to have survived the fall in tact.
I'm sorry, but Death sounds nothing like Norm McDonald.
Hahaha. Now that you put it in my mind I kind of hope the real reaper does sound like Norm McDonald. Heck, just have Norm himself take me to the afterlife. It might make the whole experience less traumatic. Thanks for watching!
is it waterproof?
Yes he is! The reaper is waterproof and rated for winds up to 30 miles per hour according to SVI. Mine has seen plenty of rain this pat week and so far so good. Thanks for watching!

He was $300. Compared to the price of other props, I think it's a steal.
