Haunt at the Roxbury and Frightman both mentioned the vampire might be 9 or 10 feet tall. Definitely looking forward to seeing more. Does it work story wise if I put a pirate hat on him? He probably is not on my list, but the Floating Reaper definitely is. "Ahoy mateys, floating grim reaper right ahead." It's like that made him to fit my haunt story this year, lol.
The tree is a straight rip off of distortions unlimited too.
There does seem to be a trend of more professional companies "inspiring" new retail props the following year, and I do think that this probably was copied from the Distortions lineup. That said, we do have to admit that even the Distortions Tree was not an original idea. This concept has been around for a while. Distortions Unlimited knocked it out of the park with their tree though and it is definitely the one I would buy if price was not an issue.
I like your scarecrow dialogue WAAAAAAYYYY better then "this cold sharp blade will reap more than just my crops." Hilarious!

Hahaha. I would totally buy a prop that said, "Pull my finger." Thanks for watching (all the way to the end too.) I have a feeling the "pooping gargoyle" will be a reoccurring joke this year.
Now I just need to win the lotto to buy all the cool Halloween items from the various Transworld walk through. I am pretty excited as I just bought Midsummer Scream tickets for this year. Will be the first time going to any Halloween convention
There was so much cool stuff at Transworld, I wish I could do a shopping spree there too. Awesome that you are attending Midsummer Scream! My first Halloween convention will be the East Coast Haunters Convention at the end of April. Both conventions should be super fun!
Some footage shows the vampire prop at around 9 to 10 foot, im seeing a pair of those reapers in our future. Great video
I saw another video where someone suggested that that vampire is a reskin of the boogeyman from last year. I think there is a possibility of that. He was comparing the legs and they are very similar. I would love to see that guy that tall as the Boogeyman. I think it would be awesome.
Wow, I didn't realize the vampire was that big. Does that make it better? I am not sure about that. We'll hopefully get a better look at it soon. Reaper is definitely on my list, it looks so cool. Thanks again for watching!
Interesting. I could definitely see them reusing the base and even the motions, and just popping on new hands, a new head, and new audio. Being that size would be awesome for a yard haunt, he would really stand out, but if you want to work it into a walk through haunt with a story it doesn't make much sense (of course, this is all fantasy and none of it really makes sense, lol.) Thanks for sharing the info, I'll have to do more research and see what I can find.
@@ScareDad I did a little studying myself and I think the reskin possibilty is very plausable and I would not complain. The boogeyman is tall, has great audio and ok movements. I do think it would make a great Nosferatu. If this is the case, I hope they added some better mouth movements.
We see this stuff on HD's website but the Depots in our area actually lay-in very little Halloween at all. Almost NEVER stock any of the good stuff. We were lucky enough to get a 12' Skeleton 2 years ago that had been, inadvertently, shipped to the wrong store. (That's what I was told) lucky for me!
That's awful. We went through that for a few years, but now there are about 3 really well stocked Home Depot's in our area for Halloween. That said, I still got up super early to buy stuff online when it came out because even in our well stocked stores, there is a chance you won't get the animatronic you want. Hopefully your local stores will start carrying a little more each year. Glad you were able to snag the 12 foot skeleton!

I agree. It's strange that they show the price for the 12 foot skeleton, but nothing else. With Lowes prices appearing to go up, I am nervous we might see the same at Home Depot. I hope they stay reasonable. Thanks for watching!
@@ScareDad in general i feel more safe because they added to the skeleton and didn't raise the price on him, it'd be strange if he was 300 dollars and then every other prop had worse value than him, wouldn't be a good business move. i do hope home depot stays at their really good prices, it's really what keeps them above everyone else
Any word on the 13’ Jack Skellington?
No sign of him yet. There has been some talk that he was only out last year because of the 30th anniversary of The Nightmare Before Christmas. I'd like to see him come back, but we may not be that lucky this year. Thanks for watching and leaving the comment!
