I have the same guitar. I suspect you have the dates slightly wrong. Epiphone first moved manufacturing to japan in 1970. For the first few months they use Aria model numbers such as yours but with US union made blue lables sometimes stamped made in Japan, sonetimes not. Shortly after the made in Japan was printed rather than stamped Later probably early 71 they moved to the FT range model numbers although the guitars are identical All the bolt on neck Epiphones are very similar bar the very top of the range models. Great sounding guitars that are often overlooked because of the bolt on neck. That has an extremely thin profile making it more electric guitar like to play

MXR and the Fuzz Face sounded extremely similar. The MXR seemed a little more coherent like the Bonamassa, which IMO, was a little muted. The Boss sounded behind, terrible, to me.

This pedal is so sick. But you really need a sub on your guitar amp to fully appreciate the power this pedal has! I haven't seen anyone demo it with a sub woofer! But if you can get one? do so!!!

Great comparison ,i liked them all, really like the smoth and full sound of the Mxr and the 2 fuzz Faces . Fulltone seems to be very versatile .,from very clean to saturated, really like its edge and definition, but that Boss Fz2 is an amazing beast 🤗🤗🤗

Great video. The drives do definitely sound different - the Akai is more nasal/notched - but even so, I definitely prefer how the chorus after softens the drive, rather than the drive after bringing a biting, notched emphasis to the chorus. I typically like phaser before drive and other modulations after, although flanger can go either way for me depending on the overall tone.
