Man it sounds like a line 6 spider amp distortion. Absolutely not enjoyable at all 🥲 I’m looking for a better distortion.

I have both of these pedals. I use the dd3 for jamming live with my friends. I find it very controllable. I use the digidelay for experimentation by myself at home. They are both good pedals.

I've been getting into fuzz a lot lately thanks to Gary Clark Jr. I'm a mxr fanboy and most of the pedals i use are theirs. I listened to this with my eyes shut, still went with mxr, but that boss sounds great too.

I also own a 1994 squier strat with the same colour. First bought it in a pawn shop in Florida in 2008. Traded it for a leather jacket in 2010 and just got it back yesterday. 30 year old monster!

I like that you spent at least a bit of time on cleaner sounds but I wish there had been more of that eg changing EQ & character before diming the Gain. The clean and light crunch for a Hiwatt is very distinctive, not just the high gain. None of the Hiwatt pedal demos really explore that territory. This one sounds pretty good in the gain range, though, more authentic than some of the others. Thanks for demo on that!

severely underrated pedal. i was working in a guitar shop when they were released and I was blown away. honestly i've never heard another pedal that does quite what this thing does. total sleeper pedal, and really covers qutie a bit of ground depending on what guitar and amp it's paired with. really great demo my friend, your playing really shows off the whole range of what's possible with this box.

95Q is the best Dunlop wah aside from the pro rack unit.

Lately ive been using the cm-2 as my stand alone drive tone into a clean celestion equipped amp and its all i need. If i ever see one for $50 or less, i buy it right away. I have 3 of em lol

I have the same guitar. I suspect you have the dates slightly wrong. Epiphone first moved manufacturing to japan in 1970. For the first few months they use Aria model numbers such as yours but with US union made blue lables sometimes stamped made in Japan, sonetimes not. Shortly after the made in Japan was printed rather than stamped Later probably early 71 they moved to the FT range model numbers although the guitars are identical All the bolt on neck Epiphones are very similar bar the very top of the range models. Great sounding guitars that are often overlooked because of the bolt on neck. That has an extremely thin profile making it more electric guitar like to play

MXR and the Fuzz Face sounded extremely similar. The MXR seemed a little more coherent like the Bonamassa, which IMO, was a little muted. The Boss sounded not so good, to me. Catalyst was a great middle ground, a fuzz for people who don’t like fuzz
