ngl if they remade the live action with genuinely good show-accurate makeovers (ive seen some really amazing cosplays that show you can still pull off conan characters irl), editing, *************FOLLOWING THE PLOT AND CHARACTER PERSONALITIES!!!!!!!******* and acting then honestly it would be pretty cool also, two things that make the live action too weird for me to watch is that they kind of didnt make the effort to at least make the actors look like high school students lol..... and also, WHYS HEIJI WHITER THAN SHINICHI, AND WHERES HIS MIDDLE PART!?? NOOOOO😭

i'm rewatching all of the movies rn, i'm sorry but this one by far is the worst and most boring one yet😟 the plot is uninteresting and none of the characters are either! the motive sucked! it wasn't at all movie-worthy, it's just like any boring filler! and the organization involvement was pretty meaningless! the only thing I liked was the scene where Haibara was talking about how when she feels lonely or afraid she would call her sister just to hear her voice over the machine and calm her down :( 4/10 for me

This is one of the most underrated Detective Conan movies, imo. Surprised it isn't more popular.

This film is a solid load of crap. A ridiculous story, no back story/back plot. I found all the characters to be unbelievable/ridiculous and kinda cliched. I left 20 minutes before the end. How can people make such a load of garbage?!?!

I like this movie that it's so difficult that instead of solving case, they need to even find what is the case

I don't mind Heiji and Kazuha' bickering, I think it's part of their charm, but what I don't like most about them is how Aoyama and the movie writers keep reusing the same viewer bait for probably over 10 times already (teasing a confession that's just gonna fail yet again). They should just let him confess, then drag out Kazuha's answer instead, like there could be some episodes or a movie how she gets advice from Ran about it, then there could be 1-2 fails. Would still feel like more actual progress than doing the exact same confession tease for multiple years. I wish you would've talked more about how heavily this movie involved Kaito kid and Yaiba characters. The rival guy from Yaiba already appeared in one case before and Onimaru had a cameo, but here they bring back rival-kun in a decently major role and Onimaru has some actual fighting scenes! On top of Aoko properly introducing herself, having multiple voice lines AND Kaito's dad (for the first time I believe) being not only mentioned but also shown in action + the relation to Shinichi. I absolutely lost my sh*t at the post-credits scene and I loved it. If this is gonna be like Momiji or the Akai Shuuichi reveal, where it plays into the canon story, this could be huge, because this could open the doors for future Conan episodes, where Onimaru, Aoko or Kaito's father play active roles in cases. Like we could get an episode, where Conan and Heiji have a 2vs2 against Kaito and his father. Or Conan visiting Sayaka's home, because that sword from Yaiba has been stolen from their dojo with Onimaru and rival-kun helping to retrieve it. Maybe we get a tie-in for the upcoming new Yaiba adaptation? I still hope that the conclusion of Kaito's story, like defeating the organization and finding his father, will happen in Magic kaito volume 6 rather than in some future Conan multi-parter or movie.

I've seen the movie in theater for the first time here in the Philippines and honestly, I thought it was good. The soundtracks are really cool just like the last movie and the action scenes are pretty dope.

Watched this on release day (Was on holiday it was amazing) and I have to say that cut to credits was fucking brutal. Also the severe lack of physics (even by Conan movie standards) took me out of it quite a lot. Other than that, having watched it twice, I thought it was a really fun movie, and Ran being the absolute best Wingwoman was a blast. Regarding the mystery, since both times I saw it was Japanese without subs and I am not fluent, I woulda been quite lost anyway so I didn't factor that in
