For this movie, Ran is pretty much the only reason I don't think this movie is bad, just ok. Definitely one of my least favourite ones though
imo this could've been trimmed down to a filler two-parter, removing the over-the-top explosion sequence in the final act. Also Sonoko just standing around to get kidnapped again after Ran sets her free

Honestly this movie was boring but not necessarily bad. My favourite part is car chase in the beginning.
The first half of the movie kinda sucked ngl the second half was okay I mean it had a lot of angst so that was alright but it wasn’t the best 6/10
A 6 in a scale out of 10 seems very generous. That would mean this movie would be slightly above average which is probably not where I would put it.

Terrible, boring movie. Going through the series and put this one off for so long. It's Terrible reputation is definitely deserved
