y'know I think this movie is underrated, it gave a ton of characters some good moments and I enjoyed Conan, Heiji and "Hakuba" (who turned out to be Kaito Kid) solving the case together Honestly I agree with your points, except it was a pretty solid movie and definitely my top 10 if I'm being generous Actually, it would be a top-tier movie if Asami Tsuburaya, older sister of Mitsuhiko from Mystifying Forest case, could appear as a cameo in this movie, she's the best girl of the anime and deserving to appear more, but for some reason, they didn't and I'm pissed off about this #JusticeForAsamiTsuburaya (sorry, it's just a inside joke from me lol)
I personally enjoy this movie. It didn’t bother me at all. Ai, Takagi and the Detective Boys were fun, and the fact that Hakuba was Kid in disguise and that in the end he saved everyone was really good lol. Also yeah I think that the Kogoro scene of this movie and the one in the 9th movie where he solves the case are his best scenes. Looking forward to the next review! I’m very curious, also because… personally I think movies 11 and 12 are some of the worst movies, but maybe you’ll think otherwise
I liked this movie simply because it was Hakuba's first and only movie appearance....except it wasn't actually him, psych. And it's not very obvious that it wasn't him! This movie was in the weird point where the Koushien had happened in the manga, so Heiji and Saguru had met there, but the anime Koushien hadn't happened yet, so the two were in a weird limbo of met/haven't met, and this movie just upholds that limbo. I also hate that Kogoro GOT THE RIGHT ANSWER. HE GOT IT. and then CONAN STEALS IT FROM HIM. FOR NO REASON. BEYOND rude!!! No reason for them to do that!! The Kid scenes were great, at least, especially where he just empties out the gun clips and scaring the thugs.
Definitely one of the more fun Conan movies for me, though my only gripe is that KID seems to be a bit outta place in this movie. Hell I forgot he is in this movie at all
Just a small request: could do a movie beginning/introduction and quiz ranking that appear in every movie? + could you also add the Lupin movies in the rankings?
There are many things like the animation, intro sequence, action sequences, mystery, character moments, investigation, etc which makes me like the movie
