You didn’t mention Assawomen bay 🤷🏼‍♂️😂 We camped there when it was the Eagles nest and when it was bought and redone. They did a nice job. The Jackspot Tiki bar is great 👍🏼 just stagger back to the RV 🤭 OC is a great town and Castaways is nice, expensive but nice. It’s crazy in the summer there

lol funny I was born in Baltimore, MD and lived not to far from your RV storage area. I do miss the East Coast and Ocean City. I also miss the beach sunrise & sunsets.

Three months on and I am STILL reading predictions of a major RV dealer and now also a major RV manufacturer going under. Not just being discontinued by a holding company, but flat out bust - bankrupt. Reasons? Junk quality and junk after sales. First timers see this now and don't buy. Those of us WITH RV's already and I actually own TWO, we know this first hand. Then we get to prices... Not stripped down units (they flopped in the market as once you add everything to make it "good" you have spent more than the full spec units) but just a fully equipped regular RV is way too expensive for most people.

As a kid I lived with my grandparents in Maryland. My grandfather would take me to Ocean City. Great memories. Now living in the southwest we have camped several times in 12-16 degree temps. I remember being out by the fire AND propane heater, but when I picked up the dog’s water bowl it was frozen solid. So now we try not camp below 38 degrees. It’s more fun. Happy holidays

Dealership PDI = Probably Didn’t Inspect! Even with a third-party inspector make sure they actually know what they’re doing. Interview your inspector make sure you’re comfortable with them!

I think it is important to note that during a market adjustment (after a period of when demand has been hyper accelerated) the natural reaction, isn't just to go back to the production levels of pre-pandemic. The market reaction would be pretty similar to what we are seeing. It is like a rubber band that has to snap back the other direction before things reach equilibrium. There are some additional factors that are contributing to the slow down - like buyers being tied to a purchase with a higher debt than value (due to price hikes during the pandemic) - thus disrupting the normal buy/sell/trade cycle from the consumer side, and impacting the dealerships. Also, it is important to mention that prior to the pandemic, the industry was already poised for a decline. There were a series of RVIA reports from 2019 that showed a trend toward a significant decrease in shipments. I don't know that a total industry meltdown will result, but I do think there is a massive market adjustment on the horizon.

have ya"lol ever been to Beterton Beach on the east coast of the Chesapeak Bay? I used to go there in the 50s with my family. we lot of time road that boat that left from Pratt st, hey John Semper Fi brother.

Looked like nice weather. Sometimes it is nice to camp off grid in bad weather just to relax and stay warm in the motorhome.

Thankfully I don’t have things break every trip 😂 I’ve only had 2 issues. One was my fault, but just a wire got loose. The other, the refrigerator needed a control board. Quit working on electric ☹️ My class C fits in the door at the Valvoline oil change place. They have no issues changing the oil. I have 2 local shops they will work on the drivetrain too. Once we go FT I’m hoping for the same results. They don’t seem to fear the Ford van front end and I’m only 21’ long 😂

I’m surprised that nobody had an issue with the refrigerator doors. The hinges need to be on the opposite side.

I heard from a certified inspector say the golden years for all RVs was 2000 to 2008 before the financial meltdown of 08.

Our 2023 Thor came from factory with over 300 defects. Currently in litigation like many others.

I decided to build my house instead of getting the RV. 😅
