When I played this game I was streaming it to my ex boyfriend, I realized halfway through the main character was gay and this me argued with me “she isn’t gay! She just has a lot of clothes!” We didn’t stay together for much longer after that.

The Changeling seems really confusing but I like the idea. The game likes to break the fourth wall and be extremely meta. Clara is a good representation of the effect a player has on the game world. By starting a game of Pathologic you set into motion the events that will bring the plague but you are also tasked with stopping it. You are both the plague and the miracle worker. This is emphasized by the fact that you can only play as Clara AFTER beating the game as the Bachelor and the Haruspex. You have effectively brought and tried to fix the plague twice before playing as the Changeling. To top it all off, Clara handles the plague by sacrificing people and notes that future sacrifices will be necessary. That's because each time you or someone else go to play the game the fight with the plague will begin again and sacrifices will be made.

I always thought I never finished this game and now I know even after 3 times trying to reply I still done how only end up getting to the prison

I didn't recognize the rock climbing gear until I watched this video so I thought that the bag for chalk was a holder for dog poo bags. I thought that the main character had 3 jobs: illustrator, restaurant worker and a dog walker. 😅

Gameplay wise, playing by the side of the Legion is way more entertaining than playing with any other factions. The NCR provides freedom and democracy but only to their own people: They're hypocrites posing as the good guys. We can see their real selves in freeside. The Legion is indeed honest about their intentions although brutal and barbarian. Ironically barbarian.

Lucius being respected to the point his subordinates dont abuse his age for gain. Sounds like the legion is less brutal the ceasar would like.

It's really dumb that a majority of the story is locked behind Saymund. Yet it is entirely possible to miss the dude while you collect the ship parts. I basically didn't meet him until the very end.

This video is so fascinating that I am probably going to end up writing a lengthy rebuttal, but I am going to make the simplest point here. While I respect that I cannot directly comment on your situation, I am gay, so I would also be (at least in public) heavily oppressed by the Legion. Which is why I feel it is important for me to point this out: If you were in the Legion, you would be either enslaved, tortured, beaten, crucified, assaulted or any combination of those. Please rationalize to me how that is okay? Honestly, I would rather humanity be wiped out than let a man like Caesar rule.

Great summary! WHF is my latest Steam Backlog Game That I Will Play Exclusively Until I Get Bored And Then Move On. I'm loving it so far around 6 hours in. It helps that I'm British and can identify with the aesthetic / humour, it's nowhere near as bad as some critics say. No bugs so far.

as someone personnaly on my first playthrough of new vegas, i am still currently taking in the world and learning. i plan on playing fallout 1 and 2 also, since there is ncr lore in there and those games seem fun as hell. but here, im mixed on your opinions, yes and it is safer and they have vastly more chances of living to see the end, i still don't like the option of the ncr. they hate too much, kill every people that contradict them, and living in the ncr doesn't allow you to be a person, simply an asset. i would rather take the gamble

I geniuenly consider we happy few as one of my all time favourite games i finished it back in 2019 and then did the Platinum trophy (100%) in 2020 and i had the time of my life. I think it's just geniuenly sad to see how amazing the game is but sadly many people just never past that intro.

I just beat this game. Pretty amazing. I would give it a 9/10 Imagine if this studio got a AAA budget.

I'm only discovering this video now, but I loved how the family of duck toys slowly grows throughout the game. If I recall, you start with one or two, until it becomes a whole family of them.

rtgame played this game and the thing that made me want to throw up is he couldn't even hang up the diploma in the bathroom. he tried to hang it up everywhere but it wouldn't go anywhere but under the bed. like. that detail really tells you SO MUCH about that relationship in itself. mismatch decor is one thing, hiding your accomplishments to the point where you can't even hang it over the fuckin toilet is another.

Really interestinf to reflect on how my mind works - assuming that the walking stick was for an elder person rather than considering it may be for disability . I want to be more informed and open minded by seeing the assumptions I made from this game, and that is a journey I’m ready to go on.

Just discovered your channel, have to say, thank you, you are great! Pathologic 2 was by far one of the best games I played, the best thing about it was the lack of information, you never know whether what you're told is true or false, even the kin's mysticism I thought it was non-sense for the first half of the game. And when I had to find the courier and the game didn't give me any options I was like "wow, a game that tells you figure it out yourself, that's something". I still hope we will have a Bachelor and Changeling route, or if they really want to be ambitious, a multiplayer mode where all 3 players play as Bachelor, Haruspex and Changeling and compete with each other for finding the cure. Your story summaries are the best I could find on UA-cam, not only for Pathologic but for all the games you covered, please, keep it up, you deserve 600.000 subscribers.

I absolutely loved this video, i've heard several summarizations of this story but you hit many points that i didn't know occurred. Thank you for this concise explanation.
