Great to see you were finally able to record a dive for us! As your #3 Fan, im quite pleased!

Everything takes time. Now you got some experince in making videos and its now just about putting in the time and effort to keep making them. Which can be entirely at your own pace. Atleast up until a certain point. Since making consitent videos is pretty key for youtube. But, until then, dont stress. Just do whatever you feel like doing. Being a youtuber looks and sounds easier than it is. But once you get in the flow and have an idea, it should be pretty good, if this is what you wanna do, that is.

OMG! That’s my worst nightmare since I was being taken out to sea by a rip tide at Doheny Beach off the coast of Dana Point California! Luckily for me a couple of lifeguards spotted me and went out and picked me up. I was sure grateful to both of them…

Been awhile since you posted this, but I just stumbled upon this for the first time. The US Navy Seal, Marcus Lutrell (movie: the lone survivor) has said in multiple interviews that despite the horrific injuries he sustained in his ordeal, and despite the loss of his teammates, he points out that the thirst was almost unbearable. When he talks about how bad he needed a drink, it almost brings him to tears.

That guy should be charged for attempted murder. It just slipped his mind? What a psycho. Glad you’re ok.

Thanks for sharing your story! I almost had a similar situation in Costa Rica (puerto viejo) where several novice divers were drifting several hundred meters away from the dive boat in rough seas. I demanded that the diver operator/captain pick them up and abandon the dive, which he did. This could easily have turned into another incident. Calm cool and collected, you demonstrated all the right survival skills mate. Good on you!

The scariest situation to be in and one reason I’ve NEVER been in the ocean… at any second, a GW shark could be swimming up to bite you and you can’t see more than 2-3ft beneath you…. Videos like these are why I continue being land based.
