ERA COBRA DRIVING FOOTAGE AND A FULL WALKAROUND! #driving #musclecar #classiccar #racing
Capture the pure driving pleasure of a simpler time combined with modern engineering sophistication with this ERA 289 FIA Roadster (ERA2110). Produced in 2006, this Cobra replica is ready for any winding road thanks to independent rear suspension, coilovers, Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires, and four-wheel disc brakes.
The 331ci stroker V8 delivers entertaining levels of power. Built by Precision Engine Machine Company of Hyattsville, Maryland, the engine reportedly features an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap intake manifold, AFR 185cc cylinder heads, Trick Flow main studs and girdle, ARP head studs, forged pistons, Competition Cams roller rockers, an MSD ignition, a high-torque mini starter, a Canton oil pan, and a Melling oil pump. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TREMEC T5 5-speed manual transmission.
The cockpit is oriented toward spirited driving with Simpson latch-and-link lap belts, and Stewart-Warner instrumentation including an 8,000-rpm tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The low-back bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl along with matching door panels and carpets. Dyna-Mat heat and sound deadening materials lend a civilized edge to the open sports car experience. Interior appointments include a wood-rimmed steering wheel, Street Cobra dash, ERA-branded pedals, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror.

They are supposed to so called friction lock. That's why u have a lead headed mallet to remove them
You should really learn where that anti seize goes because you put it on the wrong spot it needs to go on the threads
Look at the way he puts it on, that smooth part is the male end. It’s making contact with the rim so it also needs the lube.
Putting anti seize on the threads of any nut reduces friction which is taken into account when torquing something to spec. This results in around double the bolt/stud tension at the same torque. DO NOT USE ANTI SIEZE ON ANYTHING THAT HAS A TORQUE SPEC

@@ghetoman89you have to put it on things with torque specs Volkswagen lug bolts have a torque spec you put anti-seize on them and then hand tighten then torque them
Carbed engines are just something else. Can't get it with fuel infection. I first noticed it when I got my Dyna before selling my carbed sportster. They just run different.

This is correct in terms of hammer diffrence, a "dead blow" hammer is typicaly mostly rubber with a hollow head, the head filled with loose weight, typicaly lead beads, the point of these hammers it to prevent them from reboundong off what you are striking. This is infact not a dead blow hammer (in the video)

And don't use a dead blow hammer on the rears without significant talent. The wings are set in too deep. Use a proper tool. Fronts with a careful swing? That's doable. Ask me how I know, lol.

One question, how often do you need to do this?
Before you get into your car, walk around your vehicle and make sure none of your wire ties are snapped. If it is snapped, there is a problem, and a mechanic may need to take a look and diagnose the problem. If none have snapped about once a year to every tire replacement, you should take your spinners off and service them (like the video explained).
I have done this many times on my MKIII but this is the first video I have seen showing how to do everything. Very helpful!
