As someone with pots heart palpitations and chest pain is normal. But any chest pain should be checked out to rule out worse things. Inconvenient yes but women die of heart attacks because we ignore the symptoms. Please get your heart checked out so that you at least know its going to be ok.

If you're interested in cooking more, and it's hard cause it's just for you, Tiktok has TONS of easy recipes for the air fryer, crockpot and rice cooker. The air fryer and rice cooker can handle small amounts and the crockpot could do a big amount as food prep, then you could put it up in the freezer or whatever for later.

I feel you on the tax's girl! It stressed me out so much, but finally it was disputed, settled and passed. (turned out CRA made a mistake! ) It's so great to see a real person sharing real life. If you have a iphone, click the settings app, click accessibility, click audio & visual, click background sounds, click sound and you can pick which background noise like rain, ocean, .etc. to help you fall asleep. I am a straight guy and I use lotion instead of aftershave because it does not dry up my skin. You are right about the importance of using lotion because I have to use lotion for the back of my hands; during the cold season, my knuckles will get so dry that my skin will peel off.

I would see a Dr just to be safe. They can tell you if you had any kind of cardiac event. Body does weird stuff when your stressed. Chest pain could actually be upper back pain/spasm. It could be anxiety attack. It could have been the Celsius (my son had that with energy drinks, one day great next day never could again). If you have a chronic condition, stress will totally throw you out of whack when you least expect it. Breathe. Regarding the tax thing, get some help navigating that mess (there is free help also).

Hey Vera - I experienced this once and it was a strong burning sharp pain to the left of my chest - ofc I thought I was having a heart attack so I went straight to the doctor. immediately they were unphased and didn't think it was serious and they told me that a heart attack is actually felt in the centre of your chest and its not so much a pain like that but its a tight squeezing pressure sensation. just to put your mind at ease x maybe you experienced heartburn or anxiety or something else but it is scary I hope you're ok now <3

Mother of a young adult daughter, and an RN, here, hence my concern for you: please read reviews of that energy drink Celsius; one is by dieticians (reputable experts) who discuss it has excessive caffeine (which is a vasoconstrictor, this can trigger chest pain), and has a combination of other "healthy" ingredients, that combined, may cause cardiac and "gut" issues. I speculate your chest pain was caused by consuming that drink! Please omit it from your beverage rotation, but if you ever experience recurrent chest pain, with or without other symptoms associated with cardiac issues, such as pain radiating into your left arm or jaw, shortness of breath, sweating, nausea, dizziness, and in females, increased fatigue, please call 911 unless you live very close to an ER. Ambulances are equipped for paramedics to treat serious conditions enroute and navigate fast through traffic, unlike private vehicles.

Definitely a similar experience with me last year and this month. I had a trip planned last year and had to cancel for surgery. now recovering from my second surgery in four months and I might need another. Life just puts you down sometimes. Heal and get back up is the only option

You need a medical check-up. If your chest hurt, went away and then you had a headache (and you feel like you want to vomit),it's best to make an appointment with a proper doctor, tell them exactly what happened. They'll tell you to get tested etc., don't worry, but you need to go sometime..

Vera, it sounds like stress to me...I'm 75 and I've had pain very similar to what you just described. You need to try some relaxation exercises, stress is not a heart attack. but can be dangerous just the same. Try to focus on something calming, play relaxing music, just try not to think about what is making you so upset... I do hope you don't have that again.
