Your videos are the ones I click on immediately! I found your channel in December during my maternity leave and have loved watching your videos and back catalogue. I am currently as far back as 2020 and will surely make my way through all of them. I find hearing you talk about books and your wonderful projects so very calming and inspiring at the same time. Shortly before my daughter's birth I made her a mobile out of origami butterflies while watching your vlogs. :) My daughter is now nearly 4 months old and your videos will always have a special place in my heart, because they remind me of this special time in my life. Thirdly, if Bernardine quotes/blurbs on, or recommends, a book I’ll get it and read it… eventually. This was soooo lovely. I am having a Natalie catch up to beat the post holiday blues. Loved seeing the Agatha Christie’s and it’s given me an idea for a Simon and Natalie project. Maybe. Ooooh. I always enjoy your videos and seeing what you are reading. I am also a tarot newbie. Do you mind sharing what the tarot course is that you are currently studying? Hope that you get to feeling better soon. Its hard when you are not well and like to think that you can't do too much so might as well catch up on reading but even reading can prove to be too much effort and brain power to be able to concentrate.

I have missed watching your vlogs! I hope you're feeling a bit better now. When you DNF'd the Helen Dunmore I let out a loud "Nooooooooo", but I haven't read that one and some of hers towards the end of her life weren't as good as the earlier novels. I am so hoping you don't DNF Deborah Levy. I saw you hold up "Hot Milk" and held my breath. I loved it (at the time - I can't remember much about it now). You are correct -- you can never trust them to put themselves to bed. I realised though that my sleep is more important and stopped caring so much about theirs :D :D. The boys are huge compared to the last time I watched... :( Goes by so quickly. I am interested in hearing more about these courses you are taking. I must look back through all the missed vlogs. It looks so cosy and lovely cold up there. You cannot leave those sunsets!! Get well soon.

Your sunsets are so gorgeous. That is one thing I miss here in China. Where I live the mountains and high rises block the sunsets. Looking forward to seeing some amazing ones when I go home this summer. The Heaven and Earth Grocery store is a lot lighter than the cover implies. James McBride is a new favorite author. I’ve read three of his so far and they’ve all been five stars.
