Absolutely loved hearing your boys playing in the background. Also love how you change spaces in your home periodically to suit your family’s needs as they change. Lovely spending time with you. ❤❤❤
Your reaction to the chipmunk music was hilarious. Loved it. I’m now super duper intrigued by the Book Buddy app and might have to do it and organise them by my shelves. Oooh. Maybe I need to have a big sort/cull first. I need that list on the go!
It has already stopped me buying at least 10 books I already have. And you can upload photos of your covers so if you see a cover you like more then absolutely it's purchase time.
The horses your hubby was holding were so beautiful loved the colour of them …. And just love seeing the scenery around your home just beautiful and enjoy your vlogs 📚💞📚
So glad you are making videos. I enjoy seeing a bit of life in Australia. I will probably never get to go there, but I can dream about going to an Australian bookstore. Sometimes it can be difficult to get a lot of books by Australia authors in the US. 🇺🇸📕📚
Nice to see you vloging again. I love Bernard Cornwell, particularly the Last Kingdom series. I've read them all, you've got some fun ahead of you if you enjoy that series. Saw Edenglassie in the background that's great too. Birnam Wood and The House of Doors made it in my top 2 reads last year. I just finished Kate Grenville's new book, The Restless Dolly Mauder, I'd recommend it, it's been longlisted for the Women's Prize. Maths is overrated when it comes to time it takes to read a TBR 🤣. Happy Reading 😊
I have been watching your vlogs since 🤔2019...? Your vlogs brings a smile to my face every time. I save them until I can watch them with tea and sweets/chocolate. Or when I need a quiet moment. ☺Thank you for sharing your life with us. Its funny you bring up seeing friends from your twenties. Last year, I moved back to my home town after 20 years. So, I have been spending more quality time with them. There is something quite nice and reassuring to witness friends evolve and grow from realities of life but you can still see that younger version of them too. We have changed but we are still ourselves through it all. I will need to give Last Kingdom a try. I bought it years ago and then moved onto other books. Happy Reading !
Wow since 2019!!! Thank you x And totally agree with everything you said about connecting with old friends. There's a comfort in it. Enjoy Last Kingdom when you pick it up x
Natalie! I’m so glad to hear that you have 10ish years of books to read because that’s what I have on my shelves right now too! I use LiBiB to catalogue them. I was feeling overwhelmed but now I feel that I’m not alone! 😂 Cheers for all the goodness that we have ahead of us!
Me too! My TBR is sitting at just over 500 books. I figure worst case scenario is I can save money when I eventually retire because I won’t ever need to buy another book (theoretically!) 😂
Lovely vlog! So much fun to watch you set up your bookshelves in your space. My daughter and niece are traveling to Australia this July! I am so jealous of them.
Yeah I’m sure there is something similar in the rodeo world. I had no idea it even existed until I met Danny. The things marrying a cowboy opens you up to 😆
This is an amazing vlog, you have such a great sense of atmosphere! And you are beautiful ! I savour your videos, especially all the footage of your wonderful place with its endless sky. It was interesting to find our a bit about your life before. Would you mind sharing where you moved - to the big city or just another part of the country? And why you decided to come back? it must have been an adventure. Hope you don't find it nosey, I am just fascinated about people's stories how they moved and where they lived. I have travelled a lot but always lived in the same city. Those stacks of books look very nice, hope this rearrangement made you excited about books you have.
You are lovely x And no not nosey at all - I grew up in a small town and left when I was 17 to the town I now live in for my crazy uni/early 20's days. We travelled around Australia and always laugh that we landed back here. We came back for our kids - it's an easy place to raise kids and they have access to all that a big city does. I would love to be by water one day but for now I am putting that aside so we can have balance in our family while the kids are growing up. Love knowing about why people settle and build homes where they do as well. Thanks for asking x
Natalie! I’m always so happy to see one of your videos pop up. Since you loved The Last Kingdom, I would really recommend watching the series sometime if it’s available to you. I thought It was really well done. It’s so nice that you’re getting your books logged! That’s a project I need to take on too. Hope you’re doing really well. ♥️
