There are two trans that would be awesome if yall could work on a sub harness and controller, the Allison 1000 and ZFs 8HP, the latter apparently only needs a few points of data to practically work in a whole boat load of applications. I believe Nivlac is putting one in a Trailblazer with an Atlas 4200 in front of it.
Good job Tim but your forgot there two 4L80E early and late model your's is a late model It is actually has a stronger main shaft And the main difference is where the tranny cooler lines are, oh if like order the short shift shaft from sonnax 38511-01K kit

I would still like to use my factory speedometer. Can the vss be split? Or does your controller have a speed out wire?
If you look at the wiring diagram there is a Tachometer hookup on connector B3
