thank you so much, i wasn't sure in the user manual :) but now i understand how to do it.
glad to help
Good timing. Just made my first 2 gallons of water today!
this solved my problem perfectly, thanks very much
glad it work
😂
Did you do like a relearn process on the idle? Idle didn't go rough? Thanks.
So did it fixed ?
It did stabilize the granule loss, but the section of the roof that was treated is discolored. I'm not sure if it will pass the homeowners insurance inspection.
I retired in 2020 after 43 years at an aerospace company. I knew I would be spending lots more time at home, so I decided to treat myself to a new top and bottom toolbox to replace my tired, mid-level, craftsman boxes. I compared craftsman, husky, cobalt, and then was told about US General at Harbor freight. The 26” Harbor freight toolbox set was the clear winner. Great quality and free drawer liners. Not a single regret. Handy trays are also available which fit perfectly inside the drawers for smaller items.
I have had mine for over a year and I am still impressed with the quality.
Thank you
Keeping an eye out for deals on powerstations for backup and maybe camping. this one has a fairly good price and for the high wattage it is a contender, allthough it is nmc where I would like lifepo, but in my budget I would have only half the wattage this one has. How long is the charging time from wall and how long from solar?
Free electricity
Dude, you can drive on a run flat tire till you get to a tire repair shop. why do you have to plug it and go to a tire repair place. what you said makes obsolutly no sense.
I just removed the steering column and there was no ESL and I looked for the emulator and I couldn't find it either so I installed everything back on and I'm back to square one. The car is a 2015 Mercedes Benz C300 any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
I installed VEVOR solar pump 1200 watt. Controller box burned up and rendered the pump worthless. Vevor has failed to replace the controller box. They won't send one separately... and they ordered a replacement from China which has never arrived. Been over a month. Wondering if there is some other option for a controller board/box that would have the same or adjustable specs like a variac or something.
how long did it last? I have heard of this before. I wired my solar panels in series parallel (100 volts) to keep the voltage going into the controller well below the max 140 volts
When the batteries go bad eventually, are they easy and / or cheap to replace? I recon it doesn't have slide out off the shelf batteries, so maybe your next video in a few years will be "How to tear down the 3000x and rig a custom replacement battery".
that's always been my fear with this all in one units.
I have an old 26cu.ft. fridge that is not efficient buy I have an EcoFlow Delta max 2000 with a 2014 watt capacity battery. Alone it with power my fridge about 15 hrs. Your fridge is very efficient. I use a 51.2V server rack battery as an expansion battery for my ecoflow as it is a lot cheaper than buy expansion batteries. With this combination I get a run time of 55 hours straight before needing to recharge. Also have a Honda 2200 generator that I converted to propane . Propane does not go bad so you can store it a looooooong time. I mainly use it to charge my ecoflow and battery so it only needs to run for about 3 hours. Good video, stay strong.
Very interesting about the server battery. I will have to look into that. Does the server rack battery have the same voltage as the EcoFlow?
I have a wbs 900 watt solar pool pump. My bearings went out after a year also. I was able to get a bearing and seal kit from wbs. I plan to install them this weekend. I've replaced the bearings in two matronic dolphin dc motors and they are back working for just a few bucks. The pumps are identical.
Do you have the link where to purchase the seal and bearing kit? Thanks in advance.
Welcome to LA
It's disgusting.
How long did it hold
Power came back on after 15 hours and battery was at 56%
I have also made a DIY Portable Power station. ua-cam.com/video/sdGnLVena_E/v-deo.html
I started with Goal Zero but they are so behind the times and expensive . EcoFlow is where it is at better and cheaper. but good video
I will look into that. I did experiment and also made my own diy power supply. ua-cam.com/video/sdGnLVena_E/v-deo.html
Thank you this is exactly what I want to know (run time with a large residential French door fridge).
If I put the solar panels out, based on the discharge rate it would probably keep going for a couple of days.
The concept on a gas generator (which applies to your unit as well) is to run the refrigerator for 3 hours, then power it down and leave the doors shut. You should get 4-6 hours of thermal cooling before the internal fridge temp climbs to a point your food may start going bad. You then power the fridge back up and let it cool down for 3 hours, and then remove the generator. This how most of us Floridians have been doing it for years.
Hang in there. Looks like you have a storm coming in soon.
@@fixanythingdiy We do, but I'm North enough to think we're just gonna gelt belted by rain. I already made the promise to myself though; I if we lose power for more than a few hours, I'm ditching my gas generator and getting the tri-fuel setup, then plumbing into the Natural Gas manifold on the side of my house. Two long power outages in 2 weeks is a sign I need to step up my preparedness game. We'll see in the next 24 hours!
In the UK it is very rare to get a power cut of more than 3-4 hours. But if you can get power cuts of 24 hours or more then this piece of kit is really useful. I will just use my Ego 5amp and my inverter next time ours goes off.
That's good to hear you don't lose power for long periods of time. In the 40 years I've lived in California we rarely had power outages. ever. Until the last few years we are experiencing regular power outages. Usually just a few hours, but sometimes it can go into the next day. It reminds me when I used to travel to remote parts of the world where power outages are common place.
@fixanythingdiy Do you think this is a failure in the California (US) infrastructure or could this be something to do with the growth of renewable energy?
@@marccas10 that's a good question
He had a glitsh😂😂
I am intrigued
What if you plugged it into it self😂
Maybe 35 minutes at that rate. Went down a whole hour 35-34.2 in less than a minute.

have Mercedes E220D, 2017 W213, I have a problem that the fan would still be running on max. speed for a 1.5 minutes after killing the engine. Knowing that the engine is Model 654. I have relaced the following parts: Fan, Turmos, Water pump, water back feed line. All original parts but the problem is still on. Also no fault found, could you please help me troubleshooting the problem? THANKS ALOT.
sorry I have no idea how to fix that. I barely fixed my car.
You did not read the directions…. You are not supposed to overcoat has a negative effect.
California is so dumb
100%
Can this be done without removing the coloumn???
only if the ESL get stuck in the unlocked position or you can get it to unlock one last time.
Why not just solder the pipe extension to a female brass fitting inside of a “roomy” plastic box, then put a plumbing grade, all metal, quarter turn valve on? That valve you bought is going to freeze up in a year or so and you’ll be doing this again. The process was fine. Use better parts and make it last!
I like their eyes
they look like they have zoro masks
So you did not clean the roof first?
I used a leaf blower to clean it off, but it was already really clean from the last rain storm.
Thank you for the bearing link
you are welcome I think my bearing went out because the pump seal was failing
Hi, did you replace the bad seal ? If so, would you share the link to buy it?
@@fixanythingdiy the same now iam looking for the seals. Do you know were to get them ?
@@miguelsanchez4052 My seal is bad also. I actually had to change the bearing out again after 30 days, because the seal is leaking. I called and messaged vevor and they say they don't sell the seal by itself. I have gone to several pool supplies and they don't have that seal. It is much larger in size than common pool pump brands. If you find it please let me know.

Good morning, Little tip, after your work, you should have left the box in the unlocked position. Then after having put it back on the steering column at this time you use the small holes made before to turn in and put the box back in position to lock on the steering column directly.
Hi, how is your solar pump keeping up? Thanks for sharing
The bearings wore out in one year and I replaced them. The pump has saved me a lot of money. Here is the video where I repaired ua-cam.com/video/anaobvbBMhY/v-deo.html

How did u program the esl unit ?
I had to send the key and the ignition switch to a shop that programs the emulator to communicate with the car's system.
@@fixanythingdiy perfect thanks 👍
FYI, Vevor now sells a solar pool pump. Bad reviews on amz but seems to work.
thanks for the info
I suppose I could have used my tubing bender to put a slight bend in the new section of pipe before I did the sweat connection to correct the bend.
I have the 1.2kw version and it's been working and saving me money for 3.5 years now. I just bought the same one for $200 as backup👌🏽
It's amazing how much money you can save, especially if you live somewhere with high cost per kw. I'm saving over $200 per month and the water has never been cleaner.
@fixanythingdiy Yup. I live in California. I think these are normally banned in California. The electric company hates it when we save the environment and a bit of money. Lol.
@@MojoJojo.1 It never made any sense why this pump can't be shipped to California when it is the most earth friendly way to pump the pool water since it gets it's power directly from the sun and has zero draw off the grid. You think that's what they would want.
@@fixanythingdiy It's just the greedy trying to stay greedy.
How many panels and what power (wp) you have connected to your pump?
You did not explain how you reset the gear mechanism back to the correct lock position in the esl.
I'm with the fixer up folks. Cut out the rot. Replace the floor and transom. Fiberglass it all. It can be a fun project.
I'm just amazed that the bought was built with no waterproofing on the plywood floor. I'm leaning toward fixing it, but I will cover the new wood with epoxy resin.
You say engine's good, if the sterndrive, transom, and stringer's good, you could have a fun project. Rip & replace the floor, repair those seats, drain & replace fluids, carb clean, and get some fresh bellows on. See where it takes you from there.
Thanks for the input. This weekend I'm gonna open up the floor and see how far the rot has spread. Hopefully the stringers are ok. I tapped all over the transom and it seems solid
Can you post a video of pump actually connected to skimmers and filter to see the strenght coming out.
You can see at the beginning of this other video. Here is the link. ua-cam.com/video/JLqtm7I4xYU/v-deo.html
Pull the motor and sell it, appears everything else is junk.
I had no idea Bayliner used untreated plywood, just covered with carpet on the floors. The Motor and outdrive work well.
