I love the "close the rings" on paper idea. I did not know close the rings was a thing - maybe because I dont own an apple watch as well. Is it an apple/iPhone thing/trend? I'll have to look it up. I definitely want to give the rings on paper habit tracker a try. Will you be drawing different shapes for the rings or sticking with squares? Thanks for sharing!

Your spread is so fun, I love how colorful it is, and it's very well balanced. When you were choosing a sticker for the second stack of books, I kept saying to my phone - the boot, the boots, pick the boots. Lol I am also trying my very best to have a no buy year. (Notebooks, pens, markers, scrapbook paper, and washi tape)

To help me use my planner stash I pulled my sticker books put them in a basket and picked 10 rolls of washi tape that I wanted to used up …I pull them first this has help already used up 3 rolls of washi tape rolls

I restarted my planner too. I thought I was going to use traveler notebook. Bought stuff from temu and it seemed great but I was allergic to something on the stuff so they are getting returned.

I’m a close my rings girly 🙋🏼‍♀️ I can say if I miss a day or two, I’m not giving up. Good for your husband allowing you to rest 👏🏼 Our body needs rest, especially when we are sick. I love your rings on paper idea, it looks great!! 😊

I absolutely love this idea. I have an apple watch to track steps etc. Closing rings on paper for routine/goals for the day is great. 😊

Seems like every year I get a bug RIGHT at New Years. This time it was norovirus. I have been pretty good in my EDC but I'm almost tempted to switch to a different one because my beloved Tombow drawing pens that I normally use bleed through the new TRP 😢

Same I had January all set up in December but we all got so sick, then my “academic” planner was all messed up because I planned ahead (learned my lesson, 😂), so I just cut ties with it & started my first actual hobonichi this week! I look at the empty pages contemplating what to do with them but even now, I’m not “planning” ahead, reassess how I want to plan & basically playing catch up.

I got the flu on the 5th of January and I’ve only just started feeling better 🙈 so I’m with you. I’ve only managed to keep up my appointments one. My cousin and TN hasn’t had a look in yet. I’m already tempted by the spring release stuff too 🫣 so thank you for this! Definitely trying to reboot for February too 💙🌟 I have a garmin so I don’t have rings like Apple does but definitely want to set monthly goals for next month too ☺️

I love ur rings! Im making my own rings now too!! And I do have an apple watch but i ignore everything lol 🤪 don’t like to be interrupted. If anything it totally annoys me but it always pulls me from what im doing.

I love this idea. I have a FitBit. I think I will join in, but what I will do is each “ring” I will color in for every 500 steps. I’m trying to build back up to walking / moving more since I have had muscle pain and weakness from my Lupus diagnosis. (We discovered that the infusions the doctor put me on was the cause…) I’m getting a little better and stronger everyday. So I will color it in that way… ❤❤❤ Sending Hugs and I’m glad you are feeling better!

My whole family got sick this month too! So instead of three inserts to keep up with, I moved to a cut down Narrow Moleskine and have rolled with it-no stickers or anything. I’ll go back to the TN system when I’m ready. That’s why I get undated inserts!

So cute! I have an apple watch but haven't heard the "close my rings" trend. However, I have my fitness goals set so low on my watch that I meet them every day and over by 400% - hahaha

Super fun ideas! I’ve seen a lot of those spreads you’ve created. ❤❤❤ Tip: if you have stickers you don’t like or won’t use, find like minded people and snail mail stickers with each other. It helps use up stickers and gets them to other people that will use them. ❤

Found a great sketch book …turned it into a planner…love creating on a blank page…great way to use up craft supplies

I love the idea of reading one book/ watching a movie a month that was out in the year you were born! What a fun idea. I should try that some time.

I have one purchased Aloe Vera plant and one Christmas Cactus, both purchased in 2019. I have two Christmas Cactus babies from the original. I have a Spider plant (anyone else want a baby Spider plant?) gifted from a friend plus three more repotted and two English ivy plants harvested out of the yard. Spending can be minimalized.

I also have long haul Covid, so I believe you 100%! I've gone back and forth between low buy and no buy this year, but might need to just bite the bullet and do no buy, because low buy turns into just one more thing for me....
