I really struggle with follow through, like - I LIKE the idea of different notebooks/planners for different THINGS - but I struggle to use my PP daily on the regular - let alone the weekly. But I do LOVE the idea of a little more reflection on life's smaller things and tracking things such as tv shows/movies/books etc ... I just worry that this could be yet another thought that fizzles out before its fully formed for me. I really need to do some thinking!
Maybe the thing you need to do is release the obligation to fill them up and just use them however you want when you want and just enjoy your hobby! Girl we are too old and have survived too much to turn our planners and stickers into a chore! 🧡
@@ohreallyalana it'll be here Friday! 😆 Seriously though, thank you for saying that. A much needed perception check - I'm just one person and I don't want to ASSUME that something isn't going to work for me before I give it an honest go. I've been journaling/planning on a somewhat regular basis for about a year now, which is a HUGE improvement! OH! Quick question... what pen do you recommend for the tomoe river paper?
@@amberharris4504 😊 I think the Pentel Clena and Zebra Sarasa pens are best but the regular Pentel energel 0.7 works well too. I get mine from JetPens.
I too struggle with keeping a planner/journal just for me. My mind drifts to well I could do this and this and then I could let people flip through it like a memory keeper. Or my need to track my cycle but the total aversion to leaving that info behind on paper. 😅 Oof.
There is a little known tradition of burning the planner/journal at the end of the year if you fill it up with private things but I don't know if I could bring myself to do that. Might be therapeutic though! But yes, I'm with you, my mind always goes to other things outside myself to fill them up with. This one will be a real challenge for sure! 😄
I think your November pages are beautiful!
Thank you, my friend! 🧡
I’m turning 40 in 2025. I’m trying to just be in one system for once this year! Cheers to 40!
One system is a great idea! Cheers to 40! ✨
I am so excited you posted this! I am starting a new planner/journal starting with my birthday. I turn 40 in 2025 too 🎉❤
I'm so glad this was useful for you!! And cheers to our 40th year!! May it be the best year yet! 🎉💖
