Pokemon Introduced in the Wrong Generation
These are some Pokemon that were introduced in the wrong generation, since they would be better in a different generation in competitive singles Pokemon, not considering VGC Pokemon tournaments. This is not counting Pokémon that were introduced in the pokemon anime too early, it's just looking at pokemon that could have been strong if they were introduced in earlier generations of the pokemon franchise.

The Most UNDERRATED Pokemon from Every Gen
Переглядів 2,8 тис.14 днів тому
In every generation of Pokemon there are some strong pokemon and some weak pokemon. There are some pokemon in competitive singles that don't get proper recognition however, and can be way stronger than first imagined. There are many low ranked pokemon that can be very strong in the right context, which people don't often discuss, which are very underrated. We will take a look at my picks for th...
The Dark Type Explained in 5 Minutes
Переглядів 2,5 тис.21 день тому
The dark type in Pokémon has undergone many changes the majority of which impacted it positively. First a special type in gen2 it immediately made a splash as it acted as thorn in the psychic types side. From first introducing strong and bulk dark types to going on to introduce meta defining moves like sucker punch, knock off, taunt, and pursuit the Dark type has consistently had a spot light o...

In this video, I tried playing the Landorus Therian Dating Simulator! It's a game where you try and date lando-t, and other pokemon like Incineroar and Rillaboom who are popular in competitive pokemon singles and VGC show up. I streamed this live on my UA-cam channel, so I hope you enjoy the highlights in this video!
What Makes A Pokémon GOOD ?
Переглядів 2,1 тис.Місяць тому
There's multiple aspects to a Pokémon success. And no answer is the same for every Pokémon. However i narrowed it down to ability, move pool, typing, and stats. Ever since generation 2 when all of these aspects became major factors there have been multiple Pokémon that illustrate why i choose these specific factors. From Clafable's move pools, Dragapult's, stats Blaziken's Ability, and Klefki's...
How GOOD would Slaking be in Gen 3 Ubers without Truant? (Competitive Pokemon)
Переглядів 2,2 тис.Місяць тому
Slaking is an extremely powerful competitive Pokemon Singles, being able to hit extremely hard and having stats on par with Legendary Pokemon like Kyogre and Groudon. Despite these amazing stats, it has an ability that makes it unable to move every other turn, which nerfs it significantly. In this video, I look at how it would perform if we removed its ability, which was one of the only things ...
What Eeveelution Is The Best Competitively ?
Переглядів 2,8 тис.Місяць тому
The eeveelutions are the most famous evolutionary line in all of pokemon. However in singles they don't typically have the best record. So lets do a tier list to decided which ones are the best and one of them are on Glaceon's level. This is based on their competitive history and is only my subjected opinion but my opinion is based on facts. Discord: discord.gg/xc9sStd4XJ

A Brief History of Stall In Competitive Pokemon (gen 1-9)
Ok, but hear me out, imagine a gen 2 Froslass, not only we lacked good ghost types, but we also lacked good ice types, her stats are not amazing, but she could make a good split attacker, with potential for both physical and special, specially because ghost was physical and ice special, but her main deal is her speed, being 110 means she is pretty much overspeeding most stuff, but not only that, she would have acess to a pretty good range of moves, would be immune to rapid spinners, would be strong against the psychic type that was still strong in gen 2, would be immune to normal that was still op by that time and steel was still rare, ghost werent that strong and fire was still kinda lacking so she wouldnt have as many counters and her stat while 480 may be low, its not that low for gen 2 standards, she would be pretty decent, also since she is fast, she could even work as a nasty support, with will-o-wisp and hypnosis, she is overspeeding pretty much everything she needs, a very select amount of pokemon would overspeed her, most couldn't delete her from battle that fast either Another one that would have been a powerhouse back then would have been a gen 4 solgaleo dusk, strong stats, physical and special split already exist, fhe typing was good and steel still resisted ghost and dark, not only that, but would have a stronger neutral game, specially in a meta that didn't have all gen 5 type of stuff, like landorus therian, was also a game where defog wasnt buffed and no heavy duty boots, so being steel type to resist stealth rocks and basically every other type of the game, while not having most if it's counters and still having the physical and special split to make use of its high physical attack and being able to still be effective because trick room already existed, may not be the slowest pokemon, but in a meta where speed was so important and the main counter for it would probably be gen 4 garchomp that was fast and the 100 speed tier was so important, being slower than them for a trick room would be interesing, Solgaleo dusk would be a force to be recognized in gen 4
Both variants of Zoroark would have also been completely meta shifting if they were introduced in Gen 4 or prior. Most people believe team preview was introduced specifically to keep Zoroark in check, and no one really refutes that despite it never being outright stated by the devs (I think). And that's because Illusion would have been outright bonkers in a non-team preview environment. Even if your opponent doesn't even run a Zoroark, you'd have to treat every fresh switch-in as if it were one because you'd never know until they are down to their last mon (or if they reveal all 6 early on, for some reason). And that makes them prone to mid-ground plays or outright misplays in attempt to catch something that might not even be there. For example: You switch in an Infernape on their Alakazam? Must be a Zoroark! Then you CC their incoming T-tar and its GG. Or they stay in and Focus Blast, and then take a U-turn to the dome. Or they Psychic calling your bluff, and it does 0%. All of those are basically RNG plays completely beyond any info they could collect until then.
Any normal-psychic would have been busted in gen one
To make gen 1 Counter even worse, it only worked with Fighting and Normal Type attacks
here's a few that may also count: >Wyrdeer in RBY, carries double status (TWave and Hypnosis) as well as the 2 best types in the game >Gallade in RBY, a Swords Dancer that carries dual status as well as Thunderbolt, Ice Punch, Slash, Hyper Beam, and Earthquake as just some of its insane coverage >Brambleghast in GSC, a spiker who can spinblock AND spin, providing for insane utility compression >Orthworm in ADV, a Steel-type that doesn't fear EQ and carries QuakeSlide while also setting up spikes
Your rapport with L-T is so genuine and beautiful. YOU should have written this game
malamar would be so good in gen 1 before bug type was good
wish to see part 2, their should be plenty more pokemon that fit the criteria
0:46 blissey is a great gen 1 pokemon
good to see you upload!
TY algorithm. Magnificent musicianship
Swift swimmers are banned from being used on rain teams in gen 5. Barraskewda might work well against opposing rain teams tho
Hoenn Gaiden shows a cool argument for a few mons that would have done better in Gen 3 OU such as Silvally and Golurk(also there's a tour going on for said pet mod and signups are open until January 10th ;) )
i feel like i was introduced in the wrong generation....
lmao
Older gen junk like Gen 1 crit chance or Gen 2 sleep talk being able to call rest sure would flip the competitive scene upside down nowadays. Could you imagine the horrors of Gen 1 Regieleki?
Shit vid, obviously fake. You almost had me until you hit two focus blasts in a row /j/j
