Good point. You definitely need to FIFO (first in first out) and rotate stock so you always have a little stockpile, but always the freshest possible. And keep those expiration dates legible.

@@ThePrepperAlmanac Yup I grow 75%-85% of my annual veggies I freeze some and can some. I also hunt for deer and turkey and have chickens for eggs. We have bee hives and fruit trees as well. Life would be much harder nut no one in family will starve
