I really hate how Frontier's desert theme ended up supressing MH2's superior desert theme. And not just in MHFU, but also MHGU. I really feel like not wanting to play any quests in the new Desert for that reason. It's a shame, because I think the new Desert has a nice landscape
@@zxmac7320 it’s not really a map, it’s more of a arena tbh, plus you can only fight jhen and dehran, Mh4 didn’t have an actual desert map until mh4u, so you couldn’t get this like diablos and cephadrome.
I dunno if it’s just me does Monoblos feel, evil? I mean, in the games it’s animal like every other creature but something about Monoblos just feel like it’s something that would feel evil.
MHW > MHR > MH1 > MHFU > MHTri > HMDos Don’t like the over-emphasis on vocals with Rise’s. The vocals feel very obnoxious, otherwise Rise would be above World. MH1’s is pretty nice, I would like to see a revamp of it at some point or at least some reappearance like what they did with the MH4U trailer (the Diablos hunt one). Freedom Unite’s had a nice start, especially with its ties with Bloodbath’s theme, yet it degrades kind of quickly. Tri’s has some good energy, yet it just feels weird and kind of repetative. Finally, Dos’s is last since its really just suspense and no energy. Of course I put World’s on top since I’ve only played World and it is very good. Although, I will say its more of a rocky/wasteland styled theme than a desert theme (which I think Rise fits perfectly and MH1’s fits well too). However, of all of BASE World’s locale themes, it is my favorite (it simply can’t compare to Hoarfrost and Guiding Lands).

mhf2 having the dos desert theme, then mhfu not having it is an absolute travesty
I believe it's because mhfu used the music that frontier used for the low rank quests(since there is separate zone themes for low, high and grank)

Frontier has some of the best themes of MH, but the desert, swamp, jungle, snowy mountains and tower themes of Dos are better.
