    The Pixel Pal brand AAA to Micro-USB converter works off of any 5V USB plug so do you think using 5V would be fine without converting it 3.3V first? Or do you think the Pixel Pal brand converter has a little 5V to 3V converter inside it? I actually have the Pixel Pal branded converter but I only have one and have 6 pixel pals so I need to do something like this

      The little buck converters I bought putput just the right amount of voltage to replace 2 AA batteries. I'm assuming inside the official USB adapter product has something very similar because it's doing the same thing. It would be interesting to see what the actual voltage output of the official USB back is with a multimeter, it's possible that somehow the pixel pal can handle 5v safely and a buck converter is unnecessary meaning you just need the physical USB c adapter.

    I just cleaned on of these and it pumps compound and water good. But it seems when I close it that bothers me the compound nozzles and water nozzles touch the CD barley. Is that right? Does it matter what direction the compound nozzles face? Seems almost as if it’s not delivering enough compound or water from the sound of it when it’s running.

    What problem did you encounter? My CoffeeJack has stopped producing any pressure no matter how many times I pump (it worked okay initially). I've remove the valve thing (the one with the 5 screws) a couple of times to reseat & check that rubber valve, but no go. Perhaps it's that metal pressure valve that's the issue? And when you said you replace the rings, are you saying you bought new O-rings or just reinstalled the factory ones? I've tried contacting CoffeeJack through Twitter and Facebook, but no response! And I've tried everything on their FAQ pages.

    • @roycerepairs
      @roycerepairs 26 днів тому

      I had a spare set of o-rings with my order, yes it's notoriously difficult to get ahold of them... I had the same problem as you, I think the solution was to clean the metal filter well before each use as well as not overfilling the basket so that it fully closes without resistance the same as if it were empty and you twisted it on.

    • @Centauri27
      @Centauri27 25 днів тому

      @@roycerepairs Thanks. I do clean my filter thorough after each use, but dunno why the pressure is getting worse and worse. How did you get a spare set of O-rings with your order? Hey Royce, i know this is asking a lot for something you posted a year ago, but could you possibly do a follow up on this video. your video is sort of all over the place. I see you have water from the tap going into the pump, from the pump I'd assume it's going into the corny keg and then from the keg into the carbonator? how does the pump know the corny keg is full, is it because it's going off the carbonator's float valve? so it draws water from the keg, fills the carbonator tank and whatever you consume it fills the keg for the reserve? so do you T off the c02 tank to be able to pump water from corny to carbonator tank? i think that's right, but I hope you read and comment. also, how cold does ur fridge get, they say to be below 40F for proper water carbonation. I'm looking into a kegerator for this purpose instead of modding a completely fine fridge.

    • @roycerepairs
      @roycerepairs Місяць тому

      Ok so not saying the way I have it is ideal or even correct but this is how it's setup. Water comes into the pump then goes to the keg in the fridge and out of the keg to Big Mac carbonator then out to the dispenser outside of the fridge. CO2 pipes into the Big Mac, the float valve on the Big Mac controls the pump when it's low it turns on.

    • @JJiG
      @JJiG Місяць тому

      @@roycerepairs so thats basically what I said, so when you're drawing water to drink it comes from the carbonator tank and when that gets low the pump turns on forces water out of the keg into the carbonator tank? so you prolly filled the corny keg more than 3/4 full to always have plenty of reserve cold water right?

    • @roycerepairs
