You haven't failed with this. It can be difficult for people to meet someone new. You know that yourself. Well done for trying this. Not sure about the communal meet you were talking about. Personally, the last thing I want to do is meet lots of people. I go into nature to get away from conforming to the expected 'normal way to be' (I'm neurodivergent). I like to see wildcamps. 6 months of the year I'm hiking up in the dark on a Friday and the more ideas of spots, the better. Golf courses have some brilliant places to put a tent, most have 18 really flat pitches. They even have holes pre dug out in case you get caught short. 😂 **I am joking!**

I love this tent, I just wish they'd have had mesh doors, rather than just the solid fabric...and yeah @8:42 would have been nice to have a little bit more head space for sitting up and enjoying the views I had when on my travels. Still, a great tent, and I used it for me alone.
