Well done with your career change to a 'Film Maker' who shares free videos on UA-cam. I don't know how you can film your days out. I camp and wildcamp over 70 times a year and out in nature regularly for over 40 years. Even though I love photography, I can't do it. It's probably because I need to concentrate on nature for my noggin? Now I'm recently diagnosed with ASD, ADHD and dyslexia (please excuse the writing 😂), I understand why I need to get out. It's also just nice to be fit enough to hike 20 miles a day every day I want. English Woodsman has gone from a small channel to a good size with his honesty, even though he hadn't much of an idea when he started. In time, I'm sure you will grow well and the Paul Messner, piece will help a lot. Well done.
@@Life-Outdoors-UK cheers for the kind comment.and yeah I have to say filming yourself is hard but it helps in ways I can't explain.i get out in the outdoors for my noggin to.i go out to camp not to film I just purely film while I'm out because it makes sense.cheers mate
you tube is a hard game! just trying to film content then the editing is a mental challenge too! i know that feeling dude. just take ya time etc :) but becareful switching niche as it effects your videos been watched etc.
TIPS! 1. Consistancy, upload or go live same day(s) each week. 2. If going live, make sure everything is already to go and don't wait till loads of people arrive, people were there on time the others can watch it later. That's it! Be respectful of people's time, show appreciation and professionalism andthe views and subs will come. One pet peave of mine is YTbers trying to force viewers to 1 or more of their other channels about another topic. People are enjoyig whatever drew them intoa channel, when someone now wants their viewers to watch them do things they aren't interested inm I UNSUB and find other channels I enjoy watching. I enjoy watching people ride, upgrade adn repair bike, then they start a channel about cars which I want nothing to do with but insists you need to sub, watch and comment on cars, why? Besr of luck growing your channel :)
It is so funny you people going on about 9-5. You do remember that people used to work 12 hours 6 days, sometimes 6 1/2 day for work right? And those who worked in a non-heated factory with no social welfare or health plan? These 9-5 babies also fail to look at a modern graveyard shift worker while their spouse works days and the night worker still has to stay awake to take care of the kids in the morning. However, if you can do better for yourself that is fantastic! But don't whine about a 9-5 M-F job as that is pure luxury comparatively.
I disagree sorry, people still work 12 hours shifts? Nurses doctors ect, they work 12 hours 6 days a week sometimes,it's a matter of opinion I guess, you either work for a corporation or big company and are just a number if you died tommorow they would replace you the next day,and living for just the weekend is not for me
@@JoshTyldesley Correct, there are 12 hour shifts, including people on air craft carriers who don't get a day off, a long weekend, etc. I meant that overall, we have it much better than in the past. However, the improvements are not enough for some people who are not a student of history, and see the 9-5 as something inhumane, and that there should be a 4-day work week.
found this while on 200ug of acid, easily the most meaningful thing ive ever watched
