Enjoy your camping mate, I know exactly how you feel, when I tried to self delete my mates would come and kidnap me and take me wild camping. I owe them a massive debt of thanks as it helped me a lot in the dark days. Keep it up and keep enjoying yourself. All the best.
I agree with everything you said but I need to be away from people and into how nature works. I've no confidence until I get on top of a hill. That's my place. (4along). You will always find somewhere to pitch up. When it gets late it gets easier. Whoever thinks about wildcamping, do it. Just leave no trace and that includes, not changing the position of stones. hi Josh , loved this it felt like we were having a chat together , and I agree with everything you said , I'm exactly the same I have a lot of nerves about getting out for the first time wild camping, I would love to learn how to Map read, just in case the online maps let you down , where did you learn to map read from ? and was it easy ? looking forward to seeing your videos with subscribers , thanks for sharing all your knowledge it really does help. @stuarthatton1973 cheers Stuart glad it helped. I learnt from watching youtube video's over and over and then I put my first peak district map and a compass and put it to the test there's plenty of video's out there these days
